I'd actually love to see competitive SEC teams do this - it would be an easy way to meet the Title IX rules:

Edit: several teams in Florida: St. Thomas, Florida Memorial University, Webber International, Warner University, Keiser University.

St. Thomas University (Florida) is one of the teams:

Problem is all the guys who can't make the team will turn tranny to play this
Why is that a problem? The objective is to have a good excuse to spend money on a women’s program to be in accordance with Title IX; who cares if it’s really dudes playing; the NCAA won’t say a word.

Okay if they make the punters wear mini-skirts.
How about the avalanche of jokes on a player being a pussy?

There was a women's professional (full contact) football team in Huntsville a few years ago. I had a friend that played and she brought me on the sideline to do some photography. Those girls were tough as nails. Saw one girl get her finger broken and it was an ugly break. She told the trainer to "straighten it out" and tape it then went right back in the game. My friend tore her ACL in one game. The next week she was wearing a knee brace and played the rest of the season.
