Trey Mann had 1 assist tonight. He was a ball hog tonight.

There’s legit 3 players I trust on this team, and that’s a problem.

Mann
Castleton
Appleby

Heck, I’d rather play Lane over Lewis and Duruji, at least he’s a legit defender.

I think Jay is right about the nose dive to end the season. We play UGA next who just beat #20 Mizzou easily tonight so that is a loss this Saturday afternoon. I think we lose the rest of our games vs UGA, @AU, @UK, and Mizzou. Then lose our first game in the SECT that is assuming we don't make up the LSU and Tenn games we missed these past 2 weeks so that would add on 2 more losses to drop us to 10-13 on the season and White finally FIRED thankfully. We can try and go after Musselman who has been underwhelming with HUGE talent at Ark. We might be able to get him cheap. He finally beat White after losing the first 2 games to him inexplicitly.

UF basketball has become a less than tolerable sport for Florida fans. Amazing we pay White anything - he seems a curse.

I took a break from frustration and didn't watch today's game. A first for me.

This is the first season since lon Kruger that I purposely didn't tune in to a few games. I decided to go to bed early rather than watch the game last night and I'm glad I did. I feel bad for Mike White I think he seems like a nice guy but it's getting clearer and clearer to me that he is not cut out for this job. I think he will get one more year because of the Johnson situation, and I think he would have gotten another year anyway because of covid.

If we had gotten knocked out in the first round last year, and ended up getting knocked out early this year, I think he might be gone... But covid saved him the embarrassing exit that was almost certainly coming last year.

Don't get me wrong I'm not going to be excited about whoever we hire anyway unless we go out there and really spend some money after we fire White. When Billy Donovan left I said I expected that to be the end of any sort of Florida basketball dominance. I hope to be proven wrong. I am thankful that we had all the amazing years under Donovan that we did, and I expect that our program will join the SEC carousel of being just another team that can occasionally compete with Kentucky and makes the tournament every other year. Our only chance to stay on top was to try to make a slam dunk hire after Billy left to continue riding his wave... Instead we hired an up-and-comer who had never even made the tournament.
