Beautiful day today. I can't believe how much snow is on the ground! We're going into the city to Doc Crow's tonight. Tomorrow we're going to Cooper & Kings for a tasting/tour.

Hope you enjoy your time. I’m glad some things are open. Not sure how the snow there compares to an hour east of you. First thing this morning I took our 16 year old to get his learners permit. He had to cancel two previous appointments because of snow so we just showed up on their doorstep and they let him take it. I love a small town! Not the best day to be driving on main roads for the first time. Poor kid.

Arrived safely. It was 9 when we got up this morning. It’s now warmed up to a balmy 26.
Fortunately, it’s sunny so all the streets are passable. Looking forward to leaving tomorrow....

One of those perfect Florida days. 65 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, perfectly crisp air. Finishing up burning several hours of yard work debris:

Almost the same here Brad! But without the heat, fire and cloudless sky. Same same.
There was a strange glow in the East this morning. I’ve heard about this thing called the sun and seem to remember it from my youth.
Sent the son out the measure the icicles. They are 4’ 6” now. I remember when they were just babies. They are growing up so fast now. Icicles, not kids.
We live off a dangerous road on a good day. In the snow it’s awful. A man swerved off and ended up stuck on the side in the snow. Passed by him when it first happened. He was still stuck 30 min later so I went home to get boards and shovels. Thought for sure we could do it but Seedy and another neighbor had to join in to push him out. The driver is from the Congo and didn’t have much experience in the snow. Glad we could help and he didn’t hit a tree.
All in a days work.

It’s 20 outside right now. I’ll be playing in a tournament in 2 hours. There’s still a few patches of snow sporadically but not too many to cause problems, just a few. But damn, if you find one of those patches with you white ball, may as well just drop and re hit.

Gotta give a shoutout to the classiness of some folks in S. Indiana. We were at a restaurant Saturday night and they had a glass display case with various statues and other chotchkies, and guess what we noticed on the top shelf?
Ironically, Mrs G has one of these proudly on display in our house!
