So, you think that the 3 TOs you listed occurred while we were running the typical offense? Didn't look like it to me.

It amazes me how the dribbling gets so sloppy when we're sitting on a lead, as if the players are out of rhythm and winging it and don't know what to do when the other team presses out of desperation. They look drunk with 2 left hands and 2 left feet and they don't look like that for the first 32-35 minutes of the game.

I'll admit, there's much about the game I don't understand, I just know what I see and the wash-rinse-repeat pattern is difficult to ignore.

Yes I saw no issue with clock management. I see sloppy ballhandling and passing throughout. We do not play strong with the ball.

Final 8 minutes (19 possessions) we only went under 10 seconds on the shot clock like 3 times I think and only one was clearly by design. Difference of opinion I guess. For me much improved approach from running down the clock each possession 8-10 minutes out.

Well, white needs to figure out how to fix whatever is causing the lead to shrink and in some cases collapse late in the game. He won't get past the 1st round with that lingering habit.

Agree....first step was to quit taking the ball to the half court circle with more than 3-4 minutes and bouncing it for 25 seconds and then rushing a horrible shot.

The next step is more difficult to solve. We don’t have strong, steady ball handlers to begin with and they appear to tense up when defenses tighten up down the stretch. Defensively we tend to have issues with our interior defense late in games as well.

The 10 cancelled games hurt this group tremendously. They need as much court time as they can get.

Glover played well yesterday but tends to be erratic at times. Payne is the one player we need to step up. Another game where he played 18 minutes and had 1 rebound and did not take a single shot.

I was right with you until you said Glover played well. He hit a few shots early so did contribute some scoring which was a change. Otherwise he was a liability as usual. He had 1 assist, 2 TO and 0 steals. He's too short, too slow, not a particularly good handle, doesn't make his teammates better. I'm still trying to figure out what he does well. He has cool hair I guess.

Yeah should have just said he played “better” than usual. 18 minutes and scored 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting and 3-3 on FT’s. Had 1 assist to Appleby’s 2 and 2 TO’s to Appleby’s 5. Appleby also had 4 fouls. Appleby played 22 minutes and scored 13. Bottom line I was trying to make was Glover was more productive than usual.

Combined they had 40 minutes and 24 points in just 9 shot attempts. Productive. Meanwhile Ruz jacked up 5 (all missed) in just 6 minutes and Lewis 1-6 in 27 minutes.

At this point we need Lewis, Payne and Locke to step up. More out of those 3 and we might get out of the first round. The guards and Durugi bring lots of energy even if sometimes erratic. Castleton continues to play with fire. I have no idea what’s up with Osifo? He was starting to contribute but didn’t play a minute yesterday. Is is sick? Injured?

We must be watching different games. Too slow? What? Lol

He played great yesterday in his limited role, and is one of our better guards on the defensive side. Heck, he’s one of the few guys on our team that can stay in front of his guy and not get blown by

He's 2 star talent and plays like it. He doesn't do anything well. When you're 5'8" you need to excel either at dropping dimes or 3 point shooting. He's like a 27% career 3 point shooter and averages about half an assist a game. The fact that we're even debating his skill level tells you how far our talent level has fallen. We have 2 legitimate players on this team, sometimes 3 when Appleby is on his game but he is unfortunately very inconsistent.

Glover brings solid defense but is super inconsistent in all other aspects like most the guys on our team outside of Castelton and Mann. I don’t think Glover is a 25 min/game guy but he can occasionally give us a spark off the bench. And for a team that struggles to defend, he’s a breath of fresh air to watch on defense. And he’s definitely not slow lol
