People don’t know how to fight, but they don’t know that they don’t know how to fight. Your ego can get you hurt.

Did I miss something? I didn’t see him touch the guy. I saw the other guy touch him.

The other guy would be guilty of battery potentially, but if the first said something that is threating he could be charged with assualt.

Verbal threats generally don’t meet the test, however, his buddy shoved one of the two MMA guys. That’s a form of battery and in combination with heated words from his buddy, who appears pissed off over something the MMA guys did, it could be interpreted as assault that led to the initial MMA reaction. All you have to do is appear ready to inflict physical harm to be charged. I’d say they met that test.

The MMA guys continued to pound ass long after taking down the two Sooners. That’s battery. The one player on his back was flailing his arm in a lame attempt to land a punch.

All four are looking at some kind of legal repercussions, but the MMA guys are probably looking at serious jail time. The judge will say those dudes are lethal based on their experience. And the two football players will come out of it looking weak and ill prepared, sort of like Oklahoma football.

I don’t know if I would qualify him as a football player. He’s a holder for special teams.

When I was eight, a guy in my neighborhood who had bullied me for years, shoved me. I finally had had enough, saw red, took one swing, got lucky and knocked him out for just a moment. He didn't bug me again. That was my first and last fight.

Should I turn myself in?

You must have fallen asleep before our last bowl game, oldtimer....

The OU player who assaulted the first guy would go to jail in Florida and nothing would happen to the 2 brothers...self defense/stand your ground..

That video will do more for their MMA careers than you'll ever know.

Mr Football was beating the schit out of Country Mouse's fist with his face. I'd love to hear what coach has to say at the next team meeting.

when I was in elementary school, probably 5th or 6th grade, there was a dude who always picked on the fat kid and the gay kid and so on. I finally had enough and stood up for them by telling him the back TF off. He didn’t like that. So, he took it upon himself to wait for me on the bike trail that led from the school to the neighborhood. Not only did I land the punch to knock him down, I proceeded to beat his head into the concrete poll that was in the middle of the bike path that kept cars from driving down. Never heard from him again.

My understanding is that the MMA guys were legally required to register their hands as deadly weapons and failure to do so automatically adds 10 years to their sentences.

All these tough guy stories reminds me of a story I tell the grand kids from time to time about this bad dude.

And Corn Pop was a bad dude

And he ran a bunch of bad boys. And back in those days -- to show how things have changed -- one of the things you had to use, if you used Pomade in your hair, you had to wear a baby cap. And so he was up on the board and wouldn't listen to me. I said, 'Hey, Esther, you! Off the board, or I'll come up and drag you off.' Well, he came off, and he said, 'I'll meet you outside."

My car was mostly, these were all public housing behind us. My car - there was a gate on here. I parked my car outside the gate. And he said, 'I'll be waiting for you. He was waiting for me with three guys with straight razors. Not a joke. There was a guy named Bill Wright the only white guy and he did all the pools. He was a mechanic. And I said, 'What am I gonna do?' And he said. 'Come down here in the basement, where all the mechanics- - where all the pool builder is.' You know the chain, there used to be a chain that went across the deep end. And he cut off a six-foot length of chain, and folded it up and he said, 'You walk out with that chain, and you walk to the car and say, 'you may cut me man, but I'm gonna wrap this chain around your head.'"

"I said, 'You're kidding me.'" He said, 'No if you don't, don't come back.' And he was right." "So I walked out with the chain. And I walked up to my car. And in those days, you remember the straight razors, you had to bang 'em on the curb, gettin' em rusty, puttin' em in the rain barrel, gettin' em rusty? And I looked at him, but I was smart, then. I said, 'First of all,' I said, 'when I tell you to get off the board, you get off the board, and I'll kick you out again, but I shouldn't have called you Esther Williams, and I apologize for that. I apologize.' But I didn't know that apology was gonna work."

"He said, 'you apologize to me?'" he added. "I said, 'I apologize but not for throwing you out, but I apologize for what I said.' He said, 'OK,' closed that straight razor, and my heart began to beat again."

That was really a close one, glad I survived.

It must be grappling heavy MMA. That guy’s striking skills are not great. That FB player’s chin is just sitting out there begging to get rocked. One well trained lead hook would have sent him over like a cardboard cutout of himself. Like this
