So is Deion suggesting that young black men are responsible for these societal ills?

How racist of him.
Imagine if a white coach uttered these words. It would be his last press conference as a coach
Blacks can use the "N" word when talking to each other: Whites can't. It's a cultural thing.
Deion is older now. Maybe a leopard can change his spots.

Interesting article out today on the long friendship between Brett Farve and Deion Sanders. Brett said that Deion took him under his wing when he went to the Falcons and they have remained friends. Said he wanted Deion as his Alma mater's coach, USM.

Dumbasses tend to be drawn to each other. Take this forum for instance as a perfect example.

How a college like Jackson State could hire a athlete who skiped his entire senior year of classes is beyond me. Worse booby b, knew it but turned the other way during the season because winning is far more important than discipline. I was living in Tally at the time when he feigned shocked when neon was found ineligible for a bowl game, but no one in the f$u community complained. Fortunately booby went to church, so he was forgiven for his betrayal to his team and he kept his "saint" moniker. So neon learned treachery from the best and this is his reward.

I have to say "both;" I understand that Dion and Troy were great football players, and I don't know much about them as human beings but Barry was a special talent and on a completely different level.
I respect him both as a person and a football player. But just his talent alone is on a different level. We will probably never see anything like him again.

i heard deon was a great team mate in the pros. Didnt fck around and worked hard. but he is a nole so fchkkk him
I think sometimes people forget about the talent that surrounded that Dallas team.
There was some great talent on that team, and that's what it takes to win championships.
Not to take anything away from the individual talent. But as we know great talent and coaching supports great players, and allows them to flourish.

You have the story wrong.

Nobody at FSU said a word about Deion being ineligible until AFTER the bowl game. The entire coaching staff and academic administration knew that he hadn’t attended a single class for the entire semester yet there he was in a New Years Day bowl game against Auburn.

A week or so later a member of the press inquired and the story came out. The Florida Legislature had to pass a bill to ensure that in the future high integrity people like Booby would not be able to do this again so Booby could focus on simply covering up crimes.

You are correct; although ineligible, neon played in the Sugar Bowl, but the clowns head coach acted like it was a complete surprize after his class attendance was revealed. But that should come as no surprize to anyone who now sees who taught twisted knee, echo of the whistle or who puts the refs up to a swindle.
