UF needs to take a long hard look at herself or it will no longer be the "PREMIRE" anything.

They need to understand their objectives...and be honest with the Alumni.

Do they want to be a football powerhouse?

Or a 10-2 Good Team? Top 8-10 every year?

Do they want to be a "Research Center for Practical and Applied Science and Engineering"?

Or do they want to be "Egghead/Nerd U" doing "ONLY" sexy research that gets headlines but won't be industrialized for decades?

What do they want to be?

And Mullen needs to decide where he wants to be because it does not look like UF.

Granted 8-4, losing the last 3 games is putrid. All players & especially coach-staff are culpable and can not be trusted.
However, all this "gloomier-than-doom" evaluation seems the "pussification of GatorChatter"?? Such that we'll be lucky to achieve a 7-5 record? As if there is zero chance that 2021 could have a single positive development.?? Zero-chance is for zeroes. "Wait 'til next year" where are ya?

You do the math:

A HC that acts like he wants to be somewhere else
A HC Coach who refuses to acknowledge his over paid DC is not doing the job
Recruiting is okay at best...must rely on transfers
Players who can't qualify at UF but can at: AUB, AL, LSU, MSS...
A student section EMPTY every season
Can't sell out the SWAMP for many home games
No New Facilities
An Alumni base that looks nothing like the current student body
An Ivy League Prez...Who refuses to increase enrolment?
An Ivy League Pres...Who acts like UF Football is an afterthought

Not my first rodeo...writing is on the wall.

None of that controls future events. But, fanship is success or failure in the past, in the present, & in the future. What heading is it taking now? Are we not responsible for fanship's course?

It's not "pie in the sky" stuff" because fanship is a building of hope. What is going on now is an all-out attack on Hope. IMO, there's an overkill of hope for the '21 football season and it seems to involve emotional hate for coaches, players, administration??

#1 gymnastics winning team means nothing. A lock on another baseball World series' run means nothing. Records broken in swimming, track & field = mean nothing. ??

I'm sorry but this is a bullshtt excuse and totally unproven.

we signed and had a few players on the team that clearly didn't even belong in community college. pretending the problem is academics when we have guys like Tony is silly.

UF Admin has been one of the worst since I was in school. If everything is not by their time line...even when they KNOW the paperwork or finances are on their way...They are awful.

Im sure he was friends with them, just not friends enough not to fire them. Probably still friends with them after he fired them.

But the really elite coaches just CANT STAND LOSING.

Mullinz loses in part because he is quite comfortable doing it. And we pay him WELL to do so.
