I get that, but if one of them swings wide the fat dude on crutches ain't 'quickly' jumping out of the way! Seems like a poor decision on who to put in that position.

At this point, let’s just get him here. I’m still not convinced we ever even see him in O&B.
And if he does ever make it to campus, he had to sit out his senior year in high school.

I'm not even sure he has touched a football in three years.

Outside of maybe brushing against one while making an arm tackle, I’m not sure how different that is from the DBs we had playing during that time.

“Bowman, Bowman's electric,” Brewster said. “He's a guy that's got great speed. I mean, I'm really excited to see this guy, you know, we turn it loose under the lights. He's a physical guy, he's obviously got tremendous speed, running instinct. I think he runs with great eyes, his vision is outstanding, seeing lanes, seeing cut-backs. Really, really excited. I know coach [Dan] Mullen and coach [Greg] Knox and everybody else is really excited about his addition to our team."

But, can Bowman block? I think we all know that is what is most important.

Exactly...we still talking about D. Black...
He played one year in the last three.

And he didnt color the coloring books well enough to make it in this semester.

we do have quite the history with juco transfers but hopefully he can stand up to the tall shadow of Joseph Putu.

So far while watching the spring practice videos, we look great. I was really surprised how well the QBs looked and the defense looks much better and more in position. I was thinking a 7-5 record this year but now its looking like 9-3 or better and New Years Bowl game again.

Are you talking about all those grainey instagram videos? Please cite your sources because I have yet to see a single video of 11 on 11 that even remotely gives enough of a glimpse to even come close to say what you are saying above. It really discredits anything you say unless you are seeing something erbody else aint.

EDIT: and to be fair, Im not saying the D is out of position or in position so far in practices, Im just saying I think you are making this stuff up and pumping to pump.
