Besides two duds at home vs UK and USC, we really don’t have any bad losses. Overall this has been a great year for White. Now that I say this, I expect a collapse

The music they played with their whistles each time a diaper dandy from Uk drove near the basket was music to the blue bloods of Lexington. It got so amazing that finally announced the UK player had fouled himself on the 1000th drive to the basket. Video showed the gator player was in another time zone when the player fouled himself.

I'm not sure we were even within 3 feet of that foul.

Again, I saw Applby go into the land of giants and have nowhere to go with the ball, so it was rejected by one of the three kitty players. He did that a couple times this game and is regularly guilty of it over the course of the year. He needs to look for the open teammate when he sees that wall building in front of him; there were two uks guarding four Gators. If you're not looking, you are being selfish. Appleby is a great talent for this team; he needs to concentrate on being a team player. He can really provide a bigger spark if he does.

Bad passes dogged us again. We gave the ball to uk several times for run-away plays. It does not make sense to continue to go for the behind the back passes in favor of more ball control. Both behind the back passes were in the back court and neither did anything other than give the rock away.

This was a fun game otherwise, and a lot of tempo once they got going. I hope the intensity doesn't drop off, because we have two tough teams to play and you know ut wants payback for the a$$ whooping we put on the earlier!

Well except maybe the Mississippi State loss.

So other than three terrible losses we don’t have any bad losses. Is that what you are saying?

CMW was forced to restructure player groupings and style of play three times this year with long breaks and little practice. Just when the team begins to build some momentum and cohesiveness there is another catastrophe. I don't particularly like saying this because there always seems to be some excuse about the performance of the team every year but I will. CMW may be doing a much better coaching job this year than he is given credit for.

Mike White seems a guess-coach. This team expresses itself in too much randomness & searching. There is no repeating-formula coming from the coaching.??

You have to play the hand your dealt just like with bad officiating....which there is never any hesitation in pointing out frequently.

But I think there is a strong possibility that this team is 16-3 or so with our best player and a serious threat to win the conference and make a good run.

We’ve reworked some things and are having a good season in spite of it all. I give the coaches some credit. MW is never going to be Billy.

No doubt he has done much better this season. The one thing Billy would significantly improve this year is our full court press. He would turn these guys into assassins. We have the horses to really get after it.

The "mewh-teams" that we lost to had similar season hardships ... except for our losing our driving wheel, Keyontae Johnson. Individual players have tried to make up for "no-Johnson". And that's an impossibility.

Not only was KJ a conference player of the year candidate....he was the steady hand on the wheel of a team with no other steady hand. He could break scoring slumps with high percentage drives, help anchor the middle on defense and be the on court leader and presence we lack. Everybody is better with KJ on the court.

It was a devastating loss but it has been fun to watch the growth of others who have stepped up. I give MW a lot of credit for the adjustments he has made. He’s kept this team together and fighting rather than lamenting the loss of their best player.

Possibly his best coaching job thus far. It’s been a season full challenges for sure.
That said, he’ll never approach the same hemisphere as Billy when it comes to coaching.

i wonder if Billy everr talks to Mike. Or Mike call him, I gotta go with Taurean Green as best PG. He was the PG for two titles . He did what needed to be done. I think he was a decent FT shooter.
who you talking about egor? If Bradley Beal comes back we win another. If he isnt so unselfish his FR year we get to final four maybe.
