What ha e they spent total, 250m?

We painted our lockerroom finally!

I'm laughing because even USF will have some sort of "facility" done before ours. They'll have a players lounge, upgraded locker rooms, and meeting rooms. Meanwhile, we still have some great looking pictures. It's absolutely inexcusable the a*s dragging they're doing w/ this project.

In USF's simulation, the last nutrition section shows the shelf with the first items being chocolate-covered cupcakes, then bananas, apples, etc.

i had the 1984 RCA model. Got may money's worth out of that clunker. Had a five year warranty on it and got every bit of it from cleanings and repairs. And when it expired that company went bankrupt.......probably because of me.

You wonder whether Ben Hill Griffin himself would have wanted to fork over that kind of OJ in today’s environment. You need a football ambiance to invite outside investment. We’re married to TV money that makes that seem not that important. It’s a quasi form of socialism. There’s little incentive for change.

Maybe we should rename the stadium Steve Spurrier Field at ESPN Studios.

Dang it. Gotta wait another 1.5 years for an office without a drop ceiling.

Funny part is that the arms race began as a way to compensate players without actually paying them.

It’s very clear that the players will be paid in some fashion within the next couple of years yet the schools will still kiss these kids a$$es with facilities and all the other benefits.

The super-special elite treatment these kids will get will disappear when they graduate. Only what(?) 1% will get the money to continue to somewhat pamper themselves & family. Rude awakening.

Just a reminder, Trailerbammer proposed a new 85 mil facility in fall 2019, started construction in Spring 2020 and finished it by August.

We started in 2015 and have a pile of dirt.

Stop misrepresenting. We also got a completely remodeled softball stadium that was less than 20 years old at the time of remodel and a brand new baseball stadium that will be less than half full for most games.

And for your information, we invite all recruits to wallow in that dirt.

Bill Arnsparger didn't want to hire Spurrier because he was a 'country club coach' and not equipped for the hard work and rigours of the SEC. Of course SOS proved he was wrong.

Turns out, looks like UF football is a 'country club program' without the leadership to compete as a perennial power player in the SEC, being satisfied to place in the of the pack as long as we beat most of the mediocre teams we play every year and signature win once every five years.

These generalized characterizations can be argued for and against since we won some games and an SEC East title but we all know that is not the same as being a perennial power program.

Ive heard the same thing innthe early 90s and that Cotton Candy boy was the Asst AD who.recommended the usual Fooleyish garbage hire instead.

SOS really was sort of a country club coach, but he sure destroyed the SEC with the forward pass (as did LSU under Joe Brady). I loved the look on those old fuchs faces as they had to choke down that crow.

As for "winning an East Title"....Ive never seen the commisioner hand out an division trophy. Any proof this mythical creature exists?

I need a picture of the commissioner handing it out.

Otherwise we could get those USCe and Butters type things that you buy yourself.

2021 Top 25 Facilities - UF at #21 (makes no sense, they talk about our upcoming facilities - but not much about current facilities, except our "thrifty" $1.5 million locker room upgrade):

Kentucky at #14 should be an embarrassment for UF - but....Foley ain't gettin into no arms races!!!

SEC teams ahead of UF: Alabama, South Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, Kentucky, UGA, & Auburn.

#1: Clemson, #2 Oregon, #3 Alabama, #4 A&M, #5 South Carolina, #6 Ohio State, #7 LSU, #8 Northwestern, #9 Texas, #10 Oklahoma, #11 Oklahoma State, #12 Tennessee, #13 Illinois, #14 Kentucky, #15 Michigan, #16 Notre Dame, #17 UNC, #18 UGA, #19 Auburn, #20 TCU, #21 UF, #22 Washington, #23 Arkansas, #24 Texas Tech, #25 USC:

Ranking college football's 25 best facilities in 2021
