he was excellent his first time and then this time again. And we’ll have good receivers again this year as well.
There was exactly one receiver on his first trip thru town that got 1000 yards, Percy. (Edit: wrong, not even Percy.)

Every receiver who left here, including Percy, got the same rap in by NFL scouts: cant run routes. The sole exception is the one kid who knew how to run routes when he arrived, Van Jefferson.

He is mediocre at best.

We should hire Van Jefferson's coach.

Maybe we just keep him..... :lmao2: for his excellent recruiting. :lmao:

show me where you see that. From the SI article below:

With three receivers entering the NFL via the draft, and one through undrafted free agency, the Gators were the most successful school in college football at getting their players selected, the 2020 Gators draft class also became the most-successful Gators' receiver class in history, never before sending three or more receivers into the NFL in one class in the modern draft era.

I have no idea what the plan is at QB. I would’ve took Jacurri Brown already. I’m also biased because he’s only a hour from me and I like when a local guy goes to Florida. I know he gets knocks for his completion percentage but so did AR.

I guess the silver lining is this just speeds up Mullens firing.....maybe

Brown is an athlete playing QB. I doubt he ever touches the field as a starter in a power 5 conference.

The plan at QB seems to be Jackson & Evers - if we miss on them they may circle back to Brown, but it seems McGee isn't interested in Brown:

Yeah Jackson seems to have vaulted to the top of the board. Plays for a powerhouse program here in Indy which is probably the equivalent to 2A in Florida or Georgia. Comes from a very athletic family...brother was a star BBall player and is at IU now. Pretty raw...

just read the article. And then show me a few articles that tells what a bum Gonzalez is.

I am sure I can find 10 times the amount of material you find.

Some of y’all just hate to hate. It’s like I’m on clown chat.

Was he a top target of ours? Nothing I’ve seen on rivals or 247 says that.

I’m not saying that our staff recruits well. They’re better than butters. But that’s not saying much.

and I don’t see us better than 10th, because, well, Mullen just doesn’t believe in recruiting.

but I haven’t seen anything that says we lost this recruit to Missouri.

I get he likes blocking wide receivers. My point is that he’s the BEST WR coach we’ve had since probably Dixon.

I think he was a top 5 candidate, w/ Klubnik, Evers, Jackson, and possibly Morris or Brown rounding out the top 5 or 6. But it seems like we've moved on from Brown, and I haven't heard much about Morris lately either. So, yes, Horn was a target.

yep. Looks like we’re no longer pursuing Brown. And good. He can’t throw very well at all.

what I’ve seen is that we’re all in on Evers and Jackson. I’ll be shocked if Klubnick doesn’t sign with Clemson.

i just don’t think he’s a subpar coach. Mediocre recruiter for sure.

I don’t think we lose more than 2 games this year.
