Danny never gets respect. Look at his record/stats/trophy case compared to the rest of the list.

Colt McCoy over Wuerffel: Whatever.
Kellen Moore: you say so.
Trask: love Trask, but over Danny. GTFO!!!!!

No matter how hard you complain Danny’s never going to get respect for his collegiate achievements in the 2000s.

Hey folks...Isn't ESPN synonymous with STUPID.

Everyone knows the 3 Top College QB's of all time were SOS, Danny W, and T. Tebow

All the Oklahoma QBs are too high, especially the transfers Mayfield and Murray. Not only do they not have a full body of work, what they do have was against putrid Big 12 defenses. No rings for either of them.

Grossman suffers because he played so long ago and he played one season under Zook. His numbers dwarfed the competition, and he did it against great defenses.

And Grossman got screwed by the Heisman voters, too. The winner, Eric Crouch, had I believe 9 TD passes and 10 INT's...for the season. Grossman probably had 9 TD's in the first two games.

7 passing and 18 rushing. WOW!

Grossman had 6 in the first 2 games of the season.....I was curious to know.

How Crouch also won the Davey O'Brien award is beyond me.

This list is a complete joke....

Baker Mayfield the top quarterback of the last 20 years?

Newton and Burrow played only one year.

Watson, Tebow, Lawrence should all be higher... could even make the case for Moore to be higher.

I've noticed a lot of people think this, but he played in 2018 too.

I distinctly remember Brad Stewart's pick six and the Swamp going nuts.

I guess it's because Burrow took such a massive step forward in 2019.

Should have said one good year. You are correct.

Tebow is too high.

Newton probably had the most impactful individual season of all time. There has not been a single NFL rush attempt or reception from the 2010 Auburn offense. Only one NFL OL that got a start off that team & it was due to injury.

Your point is dead on though. For the purpose of this moron’s argument, Joe Burrow played one year.

Maybe the biggest flaw I see on this list is the disparity between where guys like Burrow and Newton are ranked compared to Trask. All three had one great season. So if it’s about any one great season, then there’s no way you can have a spread of 40+ spots between nearly identical resumes. And if we’re going off of overall, I’d venture to say KT’s stats are easily better when 2019 is factored in, alongside JB’s 2018 season. If it’s about winning titles(which is flawed in its own right) then guys like Murray, Jackson and the “king” himself, Mayfield, shouldn’t be so high.

I’m obviously going to be biased because of his being a Gator, and am ok with the view that some of those guys had better college careers. But not by that margin.

In any event, even not being a rah rah Tebow guy all the time, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better 4 years than his 2006-2009. The fact that he isn’t #1 in this timeframe is silly.
