When did a cub scout become a boy scout?

When he ate his first brownie.

And yes... I know I am going to hell. Acceptance is like a warm blanket.

I haven't had one in years, but I would agree on your Samoas vote.

Once in a while my wife will do a batch of homemade chocolate chip or oatmeal, and yes, there's something about the buttery taste of homemade that sets it apart. Generally speaking though, cookies are just great, and criminally overlooked. Few things better than a really good pignoli or macaroon. But equally right there is something as simple as Pillsbury chocolate chip or Publix sugar. All around great desert.

Thin Mints for Girl Scouts....that Chips Ahoy is crunchy texture not chewy and is similar to Pepperidge Farm Sausalito, except better.

Nothing beats a classic, homemade chocolate chip, slightly undercooked, and consumed within roughly 90-120 seconds of coming out of the oven.

Pecan Sandies are awesome but I have you beat. I was up near tallacrappy at my old flame's house and she made me home made shortbread cookies. It was a religious experience. I saw a bright light.

I’m ashamed to say I chuckled, but I remember one of the older boys on the bus one day telling that same exact joke...and that was 50 years ago! Great shelf life, I guess.

Thin Mints.

Two Girl Scout cookie stories.

1. At UF in the late 80's - roommate and I head to Publix. We went up to the kids, pointed at the stack of Thin Mints and said "we'll have one of those." Girl picks up a box and we say "no - one of THOSE" while pointing to a case. Her eyes got so big - it was worth the (then) $24.

2. Saw a variation of this joke online and decided to try it out: A couple of years ago I walked into the store and saw the table set up with kids and adults. Kids ask if I want to buy any cookies. I start backing away holding out my arms and saying "No! No way! I've been clean for almost a year!"
The adults were still laughing about it when I came back out.

This right here...slightly doughy with a crispy edge
