No idea about Fav GS cookie ever....But must relay this story....
In 2010, Mr, BG & I drove to Costa Rica. After exiting Florida (after a long day of me hammering the gas pedal), we got up, and crossed the borders.....and drove by the Gulf (apparently of Bammers)....saw a plane and a sub, so must have been Bammer...
Anyhoo, we stopped at a Bass Pro Shop, 'cuz we needed a few things, like a small freshwater rig, for steams and whatnot, and a belt (serious, to keep Mr. BG's pants up), and I wanted a new bathing suit...Anyway, I digress.
THAT Bass Pro Shop had GINORMOUS ALLIGATOR DOOR HANDLES (tell me about falling in love!). Those plicks wouldn't even talk to me about selling me those door handles.
Anyhoo....We walked out of there, intent on driving to Costa Rica....and there was a a PASSELL of cute young girls..yelling at my (new at the time) husband....."YA'LL WANNA BUY SUMMMMM GAHL SCOUT COOKIES?".
I swear to GOD, to this very day, I still scream this stupidity at my husband when he annoys me! "Ya'll wanna buy sum Girl Scout cookies?". To this day, it freezes his sorry ass in place, too!
We took seven boxes of "Guuurl Scoooout Coookies" to Costa Rica.
To this very day, my husband thinks it was a nightmare. He NEVAH!!!! heard that redneck Bammer accent. I don't disabuse him of that notion, of course...he hates football, and I'd never subject him to the SEC (he's a Kansas grad, haarf, BB school, or so he thinks...and so I let him think).
But, every time I see the Gir Scouts outside of Publix, I can't but help myself to holler..."Ya'll wanna buy sum Gah Scout Cooikies?".
Sorry. Not Sorry.......
And to those insane chillun who scared my new husband......PLS! Stay in Gump land!
