Well if those croot analysis are true and he's gonna be the top qb in texas, then I doubt we end up with him. One of the Texas schools or oklahoma will end up stealing. Y'all know we can't hold on to out of state talent, hell we struggle just to get in state talent to commit.

QB commits rarely flip. QB recruiting is interesting - it's a domino effect. Each program gets their commit and the others start landing theirs. Outside of a coaching change, I don't see him flipping (or many other QB commits to other schools).

The OU insider who shared this information came on the 247 board and said that he did not relay it properly. He said that Matthews told them that the staff did not want to make him an offer And push them into a commitment when they did not even have his DB coach lined up. He said that Matthews thought it was the the most real a coaching staff had been with him and that UF actually leads for his commitment right now.
So I guess that’s a lot better
