You left with one at 10:30 and another at 1:45, didnt you?
Couldn't always get the deed done that fast. I usually had to wait for them to finish their biscuits and gravy with sides of hotcakes, home fries and bacon at Skeeters to get them in the mood. Big girl's gotta eat.

A few observations here:

1) If you are a grown-ass man and drinking milk out of anything but a swollen breast in a highly erotic setting, there is something wrong with you. And if you feel the need to drink a glass of milk while you are battling a severe respiratory illness, you are mentally challenged. I love you Durty, like a third cousin on my mother's side, but you really need to re-evaluate your life choices.

2) Swonkey-law has made several references to the taste of semen and penises in this thread. Those of us who can't reach, (don't deny it, you know you've tried), have no idea what he's talking about. I don't know if he's spending too much time in truck-stop men's rooms or if he is just hyper-flexible, but either way, it's starting to make me uncomfortable and I think I'm not alone.

3) I think I may have had lagator as a roommate in college. There is literally nothing worse than waking up with an excruciating hangover, feeling your way around the kitchen for a cup of much-needed coffee, and encountering some sow as she does the walk of shame from your roommate's lair while he stands at his doorway with a sh!t-eating grin on his face.

Well I had COVID 19 and it put me in the hospital on Dec. 19th and it damn near killed me. I just got out of rehab 3 weeks ago and I'm still not over it. The respiratory therapist told me and my wife they almost lost me twice as they had to put me in an induced coma. The only reason I'm even talking about his is there seems to be people around me and on the board that think this is all something akin nothing more than having the flu. I had to learn to walk again because I was off my feet for so long. I still don't know how I got it as I wore my mask and washed my hands frequently. Not sure why this topic is in the sports discussion but I truly had the hell scared out of me over it. My daughter and wife both got it as well. My daughter seems to have shaken it off and my wife did get sick with a fever but not enough to go to the ER. I just hope I don't get it again. It was the most sick I've ever been in my life and it was a nightmare in the ICU when I finally woke up. I was alone and not able to see anyone. In any event I feel pretty lucky to have gotten over it and it burns my rear end when I have people tell me this is all over blown. Two teachers in my department got it the following week I did and they still haven't returned to work. I'm looking to start back on the 15th teaching from home even though I still get short winded if I talk for long periods of time. In any event I'm glad to be well enough to be on the board and mostly follow topics and discussion. Go Gators.

Glad you’re ok, but realize you are the rare exception...not the norm.

I have had Democrats tell me that they have lost half of their family and friends.

unfortunately apparently the virus prefers Democrats.

More likely your hospital damn near killed you by panicking and acting like you had some combination of the zombiism, ebola, beubonic plaque, and tuberculosis.

Let me guess, you live in a blue ****hole. Is your governor named Killer Cuomo?

Well I don’t want to get this thread of topic, but you’re wrong.

And I’m guessing hammered off a fifth round of Apple-tinis at the Ruby Tuesday bar.
If I had ever drank an appletini I would expect Alky to accuse me of smoking pole.

South Florida? (Still actually part of NY)

As for the teachers not being back to work, if it is up to the teacher's union then they are never coming back.

I read a pretty in depth study a while back. It stated the mortality rate for the "average" american is roughly one half of one percent. But the mortality rate for anyone who's ever ended a sentence while attempting to talk shyt with the words "kiss off" is 50%. Becareful out there guys.

glad you’re back Paul. It’s been a while and felt that way when I saw your avatar. Said to myself he hasn’t posted in a long time. Similarly to 812.
That said, glad you pulled through but this whole thing is way overblown. As @MJMGator said, you’re the exception, not the rule.

what’s the rest of your story? Are you otherwise perfectly healthy? Any underlying condition?

After my kid was born, I squirted my wife’s breast milk straight into my coffee.

Ironically, Mrs Durty wouldn’t let me try hers.

(Hope you are feeling better)

I confirmed positive today. 101 fever today and couldn't get warm...multiple long sleeves on, 3 thick blankets...shivering 4 hrs. Day 1-4 not bad, today smacked me around pretty good.

I had a crazy fever with teeth-chattering chills last February(103-104). High fever broke after about 24 hours but stayed around 100 for 2 more days. No other symptoms. Wonder if it was the bat flu?
