I like his athleticism. That is an absolute necessity in Mullinz system. But, is he Jalon Jones? Remember him? While he was Lamar Jackson quick and fast, his career has shown he makes Nick Fitzgerald look like Tom Brady.

Evers was one of the MVP’s today at the Dallas Under Armour camp. Also read we are one of the top schools for Evan Stewart.

Napier or Fickell? :lmao2: Just shut the program down.

If more KNOWN garbage coaches are all these Big Lots muthafuchsers can land, Id rather see us take a huge risk on some dynamite coordinator. By dynamite, I mean SOS or Joe Brady padewan.

Not some piece of shyt like Napier who was a top candidate for OC for Chimp and Butters. That tells you all you need to know with watching his shytshow offense yourself.

Fickell's claim to fame is he managed to he Chimp's sole bowl win at UF.

Actually, Id take Joe Brady over anyone on that list. Even though he would be a huge risk, at least there is a potential he is something more than Chimp or Mullinz.

:lmao2: No one wants to see Napiers run-run-run punt. He is Mullinz lite, without the sideways passing. Pure garbage and he will be 4-8 most years if anyone is stupid enough to hire, which it seems they are not.

The Conference USA guy isnt even worth discussing. He is Zook or Chimp lite.

It is funny how much some of you love coaches who shorten the game as much as possible, as if time of possession matters in any way.

Any aggressive playcaller.

We're known as one of the coaching worst destinations in the SEC now with one of the worst athletic departments who giards every penny (except with respect to their own salaries), shyttiest facilities this side of the Sunbelt, and a receuiting base that knows the detaild. Even if there were a Spurrier or a Meyer we wouldn't stand a chance at landing one anyway.

Lol yeah cuz an unranked TE and 400 rated QB and a project tackle who never played football is an uptick. Hate to see a downturn then...

I get your point and agree. But, regarding Hawkins, 247 reports he is dominating in camps.

You know better than that. @Swamp Donkey commit to names? Never. The last thing he wants is to go out on a limb & make a choice. Waaaaayyyyy too risky. The guy could get the job, fail miserably, and then Swonk has to take the GCMB beat down. Not gonna let that happen. He is still butt hurt by how good Trask turned out.

Be amazed he even suggested hiring Brady.

It is fine to fish in this part of the pond for depth. All the top schools do it. But we literally need every one of these projects to turn into a secret 5* because unlike the other top programs, these are not depth pieces for us. These types of players are the cornerstone of our recruiting efforts.

Let’s wait and see where these guys end up in the rankings. Finally getting a camp circuit this summer after a year off will make the rankings fluctuate way more than usual. Hawkins offer list is actually impressive vs a lot of our other projects we would normally steam from FAU

People will cringe at this comparison. But, I compare Hawkins to Jamarkis Weston. Grimes was a 5 star (rivals). With him on the team, Mullinz said Weston was the most physically gifted receiver. That speaks volumes. However, Weston was basically just an athlete because of the uniqueness of his team. He has to learn how to be a receiver. Maybe he picks it up. Maybe he doesn’t. That is Hawkins. He is a 5 star talent. Brewster will have to teach him how to play the position. The positive? He has done this before with basketball players with outstanding results. I would like for them to add a legit 4-5 star who actually knows the position to go along with this project.

I agree completely. One of the reports said he prefers to play in the SEC and is eyeing Bama and ga. He’s too highly ranked for us to get.

As of now we are leading for Skinner who is a 5 star. But he’s in Clemson’s back yard and I’ll believe we lead for him or land him when I see it
