Last I checked Payne didn’t have eyes in the back of his head....he was trying to knock Fulkersons arm off of holding him without looking back at him...bad call....look at video.

Watched the replays several times during the UT game, and that is the way I saw it. However, I have to wonder if Payne admitted intent when CMW asked.

The guy was hanging on him. Did he swing his elbows hard yes, did he know he was going to knock that guy in the head no. It was an accident, he was not looking back at him.

He had Payne hooked by the arm so he couldn’t rebound or run down the floor...Payne gave him a forearm to get away and Fulkerson grabbed at him on his back right trapezius....wtf...

Omar should elbow Mike White in the head. Then White would know that an intentionally elbow wouldn't leave you rolling on the ground like a b1tch, you'd be knocked the fuch out. Second, instant HC upgrade.

I watched the clip. Three times the announcer mentions they were “fighting” in the moments that preceded the hit. I don’t think Payne had any clue what he’d be striking and was definitely taking a blind shot in retaliation. Still out of bounds, imo, so probably warranted a suspension of some type, which he served, in a tournament setting. Beyond that would be overkill, and I think he’s officially back for Sunday. I’m chalking this up as one of the few things White has handled correctly.
