Who besides Nembhard impacted us negatively by their transfer? Who went on to star somewhere else? I’m truly asking because I’m drawing a blank.

I just wonder if we are chasing 4/5 stars but not properly assessing their skill and readiness? Who...within the first handful of games last year didn’t immediately recognize how raw our 5 star freshmen were? I mean I was telling people we needed to win NOW because we had 3 one and doners. I bought all the hype without seeing these kids on the court. I really like Lewis and Payne. I do not want them to transfer. But they are 4 year players who need to work as hard as Mann did.
I don’t know...it’s like professional sports where year after year certain organizations just can’t land the right pick while others have a real knack for finding gems. I’m excited about this new kid coming in....I hope he breaks the mold. We need a lock!

I wouldn't say nembhard transferring negatively impacted us. And I'll also defend all the transferring under white. Guys have been transferring because white keeps adding better players. Talents not an issue. This team that lost tonight, I think very talented. The problem is 100 percent in game coaching. Unfortunately we're not going to be looking for another one.

Scottie lewis went from projected lottery pick to early 2nd round pick after his freshman year to absolutely nothing after this year so I'm sure mann has taken note.

I hear you on Mann but never would Lewis have been a lottery pick. The hype would have been exposed as soon as he hit a college campus. Not only does he not have a shot he also cannot create a shot or handle the ball. He has extreme athleticism and can become a good defender and a contributor on offense. He needs to put on some weight and work his azz off like Mann did.

I really like the kid but to me you just have to look at the opposite trajectories of Mann and Lewis and the picture becomes clearer.

I agree on Nembhard I just figured he was one player that could be highlighted. Most if the rest were never heard of again.

For me....I wouldn’t be upset if some of the bubble guys did transfer. I’d rather pick up some new blood. A couple guys with size and some dog in them and at least one pure shooter and/or a real quarterback.

I definitely support a change at the helm but really don’t believe it will happen.

I have always thought that if KJ ever got cleared to play, he would take his talents to the professional ranks. It’s hard to see him or his family supporting playing for free again when they see how quickly it can all be over. I think he has NBA talent so if he gets cleared I would expect that to be his next stop.

Well, this went about as expected. I was hoping we could pull off a major upset against the Fightin Eagles. I’ve said this before. But, in my 30 years watching basketball, Whitey is the worst gameday coach I have ever seen. That is not an exaggeration. I mean it.

Keyontae earned all his accolades as a Gator, so he stays. Gator KJ has watched all of our MW coaching blunders, so he will be a better court-general - he'll stay, If everybody gets that extra COVID-year, a lot will be back, I think. Keeping Mike White is a fail just like keeping Todd Grantham is also. UF needs new coaching, better coaching.

Someone tell me about any good prospects that we are getting next year?

I know Mike white deserves blame but remember who turns the ball over 20 times a game. He even slowed it down and they still make boneheaded passes and dribble off their feet and take awkward shots.
If Mike white comes back I'd kick about four players off the team.
