???

He was a late pick (based solely on track speed), suffered a knee injury, and that was it. Jeff Demps may have had a better NFL career.

Are you thinking of Bullet Bob Hayes or Willie Gault???

Alex.
A wit said Hayes had 9 second feet (100 yds) and 20 second hands.
Unlike the sprinters, however, I feel that I have observed some football skills in Pitts.

John Carlos and Tommie Smith, the US Olympic sprinters with the fist protest on the medal stand in Mexico City.

It’s Coach, you know there’s a race angle (as in racial, not foot race).

Alex.
Yall looking for ghosts where they aint. My point was John was a big guy like Pitts and could run that fast.

Add in his long arms that he uses to keep defenders off his legs and you have a guy the current NFL db's have never seen before.

Falcons have way too many holes to make the playoffs so they might as well be entertaining as hell on offense. I say toss in the kitchen sink with the 4th pick overall.

Bullet Bob Hayes changed Football Defenses forever due to his speed.

Good thing we rested him against LSU!

What's sad is if he played against LSU, then we win that game. He's a difference maker and made the offense nearly unstoppable combined with his rapport with Trask. The Kyle to Kyle connection was special, and it may be another decade before we have a duo that effective.

Tua's soon-to-be new BFF is gonna look real good in the aqua & orange. :proud:

Close. But he needs to be some place where the QB can make those types of rocket, pin-point accuracy passes in tight spaces. Clearly that's Hurts. He'll look terrific in green(I mean who doesn't).

With the Eagles recent history in drafting pass catchers... i'm expecting them to draft someone who couldn't catch a cold.
