Good for Mann. Best player we have had in a while. This version of Mann and Keyontae would have been amazing to see this year. More of our players need to work with Mike Miller

Although I wanted to watch him help the Gators one more year, going pro is best for him. So, best good fortune for Tre. How a player values his coach's worth at teaching does factor in. I'm sure that was a no-brainer for Tre.

So, Appleby + (who?). Glover is just too short. Russkiev? Transfer portal?

I only wish Appleby would shed his inner Matt Walsh by no longer dribbling the ball around in circles.

Best of luck to Tre.

I’m surprised some think there was anything to really consider. In this era if you can go 1st round as a freshman or sophomore....you go. Too much money at stake.

The good news is he will likely work even harder this off-season than last so should see another spike in his skills. It would be great if Mike Miller could work with him again for a day ( all that I could confirm last off-season) but somebody pointed out he has a really good trainer in Gainesville (forget his name) that probably should get most of the credit.

No doubt Mann was leaving....the real questions are Lewis, Payne, Jitohbo, and Glover. I think Jit and Glover stay....not sure about the other 2.

Locke, Castleton, Jurugi, Ruz, Osifo, Lane stay in my opinion.

Payne should go. MW should have stuck up for him when he elbowed that schmuck in the SEC tournament game. Even the SEC was fine with the play. Then MW banged on him.

I love the guy as a Gator and a Heat player. In South Florida he did some good community stuff. All around good guy.

But all the credit he was getting for Mann’s progress really started to intrigue me. I asked but nobody really had any insight on exactly what he did with Mann even as the legend grew. I ended up finding out they worked out together last summer on June 9th. Someone else chimed in Mann had a local trainer who worked extensively with him. That’s probably the dude who should get the credit along with Mann’s own determination.

I would love to find out Miller was more involved AND willing to work out additional players. That would be awesome.....

Ive been tough on Payne but I still believe his next 2 years will be productive.....here or elsewhere. I hope he stays....but think he probably won’t.

I'm not really worried about attrition. White will find some quality grad transfers if need be. CJ Fielders already been contacted. Idk who that is. We have a 5 star wing signed. I'll bet we go after a grad transfer pg aswell. Again ,talent hasn't really been an issue. Imo

Agreed....the transfers in have been as good or better than those transferring out. With Covid they still don’t even have to be grad transfers. The portal is open, right?

Problem remains....when the going gets tough.....we won’t get going. MW’s own comments illustrate how committed he is to slowing it down. I thought we made some steady improvement with pace this season...until it mattered.

Absolutely. I'm over it myself. It's gonna be the same thing regardless.

The self-centered deal I have about Mann leaving is how much fun we'd have watching him improve as a Gator. We have had very few "sure" players to watch lately.

No surprise that Mann was gonna leave. He will make lots of money somewhere even if its not in the NBA. First domino to fall and player to leave. I expect Lewis, Jit, Payne, Lane, Glover, and Keyonte to all leave the team for greener pastures. I mentioned this in another thread so we will see.

If all those players leave, how can White not be fired?

I wish him the best. I was surprised that the announcer (color analyst?) said that Tre Mann wasn't quick. Is he quick?
