I was just looking at the Rivals Florida top 25 on Rivals. We have 1 commit. We aren't leading or even trending for any of the rest. If you go down to Top 40 (all the 4 stars), we have 2 commits, and aren't trending for anyone else. EDIT I forgot about Gibbs. We are leading for Gibbs, I hope.
I'd like to think we could snag an SDE from Lake Nona, but he is trending UCF and with Malzahn, that may be real. UCF could regularly begin eating our lunch with the second best SEC coach at their helm.
About 70% of these top Florida kids don't even have a UF offer and UF recruiter. It's amazing.
I guess we are out there scouring Muhssippi, Jorja and NC for leftovers before we return home to raid FAU again.
FWIW we are currently sitting at #25 looking up at Muhsippi State, Mizzu and Arky. I guess the 'cruits didn't think much of Mullenz triple faceplant and taking the bowl game off either.
If you thought last year was pathetic, you probably want to close your eyes for this one. If something doesn't change drastically this could be the worse than Butter's worst class. Just amazing how far we've fallen and what we will tolerate. The next guy will inherit a roster just as terrible as Butters left.
