Today was a good day.

Upgraded Locke’s position with McKissic. As good a 3pt shooter. Better off the dribble and attacking. Better ballhandler and passer and much, much better defender.

Upgraded Payne’s position with CJ. I really like this kid. He has some beef which we sorely lack. We desperately need strength inside and he can extend to the 3 to some degree. In 2 years and 50+ games and averaging 16 minutes a game I saw Payne take exactly 1 shot facing the basket.

I believe that Reeves is an upgrade over Lewis as well. He is a much more refined basketball player that can handle, attack and shoot with range whereas Lewis is still learning to do all 3 and relied completely on elite athleticism.

It will not be difficult to upgrade Osifo or Glover. They simply didn’t provide much production. Mann will be the one difficult to replace.

So 5 of 6 should end up being upgrades and Castleton is likely staying.

This actually increases the pressure on White. If he disappoints again...he is gone. Period.

I like him a lot from the little bit of video I’ve seen. I can compare him to Lewis and see he has a more complete game. I didn’t look up his HS competition to see how tested he is. That could impact his early adjustment.

Lol. I’ll own it. I’ve always contended there was zero chance of him being fired until this final meltdown. Now he is on the clock for the first time. I see no way he could survive another letdown.

From the looks of his tape his competition looks pretty bad. That always worries me. I look at guys that dominated lower lever highschool like Dillon Graham , Chris walker, and Deaundre Ballard. It's such a huge adjustment. I'd take a kid who averages 12 a game at monverde or oakhill over a kid in 1a that averages 30. They're more prepared to play within themselves. They're already used to grinding it out against d1 players .

Yeah that’s what worries me as well. I’m going to go back and look again.

Don’t worry. @Marine1 is so far up the White sphincter you have nothing to lose. How many times have we heard about the incoming transfers from the portal being better than the outgoing roster after hearing about how White has signed a top class?

That's it.! Thanks, M1. Felder videos seem a surefire upgrade from "stand-there" Payne, one I loved but one who wouldn't spark to catch fire. Felder brings some brute force - a longtime lack in a Gator uniform, (except for KJ). Felder will be embraced.
Reeves looks extremely aggressive offensively to score, Need his 18 ppg (out of high school.)
McKissic has 4 years of college experience?
Added to a better Russkiev, improved shooter's touch Duruji.? Dare we hope once more. Can they work magic on MW - turn him into a decent CEO-COACH? Can they speak out against "stall ball"?
