HBD, Daytona. Even so there is no free pass for you on here any day. With that said, remember, you can't spell scrotUM without UM!
Happy Birthday to the best ‘Cane I know of! Have a great birthday night, but use good judgment if you wind up at the VFW ;)
There are those out there that would take advantage of a damsel of your standing.
HBD DC, I hope I'm still posting on gatorchatter at 83!! Also, neat to hear you attended R.E. Lee HS. Was Leonard Skinner the gym coach when you were there?
No, but my brother-in-law who is ten years younger than me had him in band, plus sat by Ronnie VanZant in one of his classes - that is, he stated he sat by him WHEN Ronnie showed up for class which wasn't too often. LOL My graduating class of nineteen fifty-six had Hoyt Axton in it (country-western singer & actor and whose Mother, Mae Axton co-wrote "Heartbreak Hotel" for Elvis). Hoyt and my late husband played football with Stumpy Harris .
Now, now, now, you know they don't suck 'cause they even occasionally beat the Gators and generally always beat the team out west.
I drive through often. The school is locked down like a prison or I would go there sometimes. Havent seen Charlie or his son in awhile. But many of their relatives. Heck, he was related to hundreds around here. Thanks coach, been to Hampton lately or seen Charlie B.?
Sorry I missed your party. Happy birthday Daytona!Understand and fully expect it as a Gator fan would be massacred on any Cane board. However, you Gators have been exceptionally nice & tolerant of me and I appreciate OX letting me post as I truly think this is one of the best football forums on the internet. Besides, I am from North FL (born in Gainesville & raised in Jax.) and my politics and lifestyle in no way, shape or form fit in South FL, BUT, I still love my Canes football & the Univ. Miami. Remember, my late husband was a first string Cane scholarship football player & I attended the U.
