His scouting is all over the map. As @TheDouglas78 said, he could go at the end of the first to the 4th round or somewhere in between. I think he goes in the 3rd. His lack of arm strength and athleticism really hurts him.
why are you talking about trash in a K Pitts thread?

Mullinz cost Trash tens of millions of dollars with the triple face plant.

Rog, Kyle is probably going to have a decade career as a back up due to his lack of arm strength. But backups make good money, he is smart and can learn from the bench.
I don't think there's a better job in the world than backup quarterback in the NFL.

It is SOP to underestimate Kyle Trask. Could be a case where he gets in via a concussion protocol for the starter? And the offensive stats jump upward. Trask is super-patient at "waiting". But did his huge "on-field" success alter his idling meter?

Trask has a strong arm? If that is true, is lack of mobility the only knock on Trask?
I don’t think he has a strong arm. He’s got a decent arm, but not NFL caliber IMO. He’s made some great throws, but I also think his receivers bailed him out just as often.
I think he’s smart enough and with his work ethic, he’ll be a solid back-up for a decade or more.

I thought he wasn't going to be allowed to hold a clipboard on the sidelines. Playing a down without meaning would be exceeding a donkeys expectations.
it cannot be doubted that Douchebag Dan wanted nothing to do with him, and was forced to do it.

I think plenty of great NFL quarterbacks didn't have big arms.

Trash is pretty accurate but not amazingly accurate. Some of that was he was getting pressure a lot, usually because he had to do a fake option for the pass, which food no one but which kills several seconds.

I have learned not to doubt him anymore. I think worst case scenario is long term backup, which is a pretty good scenario. Unlike the Driskells and Franks of the world, he isn't just a huge arm with no production, that will give you no chance of winning if he's on the field.

He made the huge leap from middle school to SEC football but it's a hugely to NFL football too.

Wasn't this a threat about Kyle Pitts?

Some comparisons I have read are a weaker armed Roesthisburger (spelling) or a less athletic Andrew Luck. I think he actually would fit the Saints offense most of all, due to Brees being a smart weaker armed QB.

This is my thoughts too, making a the backup quarterback living for a decade or more is very profitable.

it was really weird l. I was just reading along through the thread and some suddenly someone posted that he may go between first and 4th round, which made me laugh because Pitts is not lasting long at all.

Then the next person starts talking about Trash I don't know. of course day drinking was likely, you can't drink all day if you don't start early, but I just missed the transition I guess.

I definitely see Trash as a third to fourth round guy right now. In a way I wish he had finished the season with a lot of momentum and been a first-round guy (guaranteed money) but it may be better for him long-term to develop slowly.

12th you say?

giphy-downsized.gif

Who is that, the dipshyt head coach who cost the Seahawks a Super Bowl title with that stupid pass play call at the goal line?

Might be the smartest thing Mitchell Truibski's (spelling) agent did was instead of setting him up with another starting gig (apparently Denver wanted him) is take a back up job in Buffalo. You fuch up two starting gigs you are out of the league, but you play some back up and only start occasionally you can hang around for over a decade. Just look at Fitzpatrick.

Crazy how just a few weeks ago, Devonta Smith was a SUREFIRE top 3 pick but now he has dropped all the way to 16 in some mock drafts. Day by day he loses a little bit more money as his stock drops like a rock.
