Cage had the famous uncle.

Of course that helped. But still, that only got him in. From there it should've been game over. That's basically what happened with Sofia Coppola. His career path should mirror hers and it doesn't.

I would like to present to the jury...

He was awesome in Leaving Las Vegas (Academy Award for that one... and yes, I know that doesn't mean he's a great actor just because he won it) - He's a hit or miss kind of actor.
I also loved him in Raising Arizona.

He just isn't funny. Doesn't help that he's essentially the same character in every movie(though you could technically say the same about Vince Vaughn). But unlike VV, the character just isn't that good. Then throw in movies like 50 first dates where he's suddenly a ladies man, and that doesn't work either. Outside of Wedding Singer, I can't watch.

You should see uncut gems on Netflix . Adam Sandler is pretty great in it.

Cage, Keanu, Affleck are easily at the top. I happen to think Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are hilarious... but wow is their range pretty limited. Brendan Fraser should crack the top 5. Is Pauly Shore still considered an actor?

For the chicks... Lohan, Tara Reid, Aniston.

I decided to watch a chick flick the other night with my wife that had Sandler and Aniston (Murder Mystery). Half way through my wife mumbled something along the lines of, "I cant believe I wasted our once a year movie together on this heaping pile of garbage"

She was horrible. Her best scenes were the ones she didn't speak in.

I personally don't mind the guy, but my FIL can't stand Harrison Ford. He says Ford's on screen emotions run the gamut from A to B.

Sounds like my wife and I. She's a big movie person, and I'm just not. Throw in kids, games, and other "life" things and we basically never go. So on the rare occasions where the stars have aligned, and I mention the idea of going, she jumps without a second thought. The problem is, it has rarely happened during a time when anything worth watching has been out. But that doesn't stop her. So our date-night movie resume includes these gems:

The Time Traveler's Wife

The Call(2013, about a 911 operator movie)

Transformers(not sure what number but it's the one where the cars and trucks turn into robots with lasers)

Into the Storm(2014 bad acting version of Twister)

I always feel terrible when we're sitting there and she's trying her best to enjoy the movie regardless of how absolutely horrific it is. I mean one of them actually has the redneck from the "that thing got a Hemi?" commercials.

I liked Nicholas Cage in “Birdie,” seems like he played who he really is. But Matthew Modine was pretty good I thought. I’ve enjoyed most of his films.

I'm proud to say that I've never seen a Kristin Stewart movie, but based off of what I've seen in previews, interviews, or random movie clips making fun of her movies, she appears to be the worst hyped-up actress ever. If she were actually attractive, I'd understand why she has a career, but I can easily find prettier women shopping at any Walmart on any given day.

I had to google her to find out who she was and what she’s been in. She’s hideous. How and why is she even in movies?

She (I call her K-Stew) was good in roles that called for the angst filled, sulking teenager (see: Zathura), but my daughter thought she was "so Ah-mazing" in the Twilight series of movies. Not sure how she still gets work, but hey, it's Hollywood.
