stacks of cash?

the way this works is you get stacks of cash if you have lots of people who watch it. have you seen the ratings of soccer?

I know that there are hundreds of millions of dirty peasants who like to watch or listen but I guess I should have said in order to make stacks of cash you have to have a large audience of people with money in their pockets for whom advertisers will pay for their attention.

That isnt soccer.

I don't disagree. But to be clear, I didn't say the above quote. Not sure how that got attributed to me.

Midweek binge drinking. It's not for everyone.

I see there are a few more beta boys lingering.

Want to invlude the North American football market instead of just one league versus an entire market?

Yeah, and Tom Brady's wife makes more money than he does. That doesn't make it not ghey to be more interested in her line of perfumed vaginal creams, or whatever TF it is she sells, than watching football. There's a point here somewhere and I'm pretty sure it's a damn good one. Now where the hell did I set that bourbon and water? Probably left it in the crapper again.

Riots at Man U for attempts to join the Super League. Man U is owned by the Glazer family who own the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Although the Bucs won the Super Bowl, until recently the Glazers treated the Bucs like the red headed step child after they purchased Man U.

As a Bucs fan, I hope they are forced to sell Man U, so more resources can be poured into my Bucs.

The Glazers have never been popular with the United fanbase. They took on a ton of debt to purchase the club, then promptly shifted it entirely over to the club (which had proudly operated debt-free since 1931)--and the club has had over $1B taken from the club over the last 10 years to service the debt. All perfectly legal, but it's not like it doesn't irritate long-time fans of the club, especially when the team's performances have suffered over the past 8 years (and when the billionaire owners of bitter local rivals ManChitty have spent a billion on buying new players alone).

Many other leagues have a 50+1 arrangement where no one owner can obtain more than 50% of the club and where fans get direct input on major decisions.

I'm not a Bucs fan, but do know they haven't had much attention over the last 15~ years up until very recently; my own. 02 is that the Glazers are over-leveraged and can't afford to own both AND fully fund both to the satisfaction of both fangroups.
