Jacksonville has a Golden Corral, i don't think Cullowhee has any buffet places, going to be hard to get him there without one.

Targeting? Was it in the first half, or are they going to have to sit out the next game?

September 25....Western Carolina at Gardner-Webb, 6 pm kickoff.:bananadance2:

Hopefully since UT sucks so bad and the SEC hates us, a noon UF/UT game that day is possible.

Also, September 11, Western Carolina at Oklahoma. I wonder if Kerwin will actually prepare his team to play, or just take a vacation week the week before like Dip**** Dan.

I wish he had held out for a better gig. Valdosta St. was a smart move. They seem to have whatever the program has to have to build a championship team at that level. I can see why he took the USF job, but it probably wasn't a good decision. I didn't think JU was a good decision, though, and he did well there.

I didn't know anything about the Catamounts. They haven't had a lot of success, especially recently. The area looks beautiful, but that probably means nothing to college kids. The Wikipedia page for the conference shows that their endowment is way smaller than the other schools in the conference. That makes me think that their bag men are probably underfunded.

It looks like a nice place to live for a while, though. If he can turn them around, maybe he gets one more shot at something bigger.

I remember that time Kerwin said he was really a CoCaine, on national TV.

Then, on national TV, he said he wished he had gone to Alabama.

And wore fuchsing DWAG gear, posted to the Dwag Instagram.

Wait......

No, I dont.

I think this is a "better gig" for Kerwin. He's been around coaching a long time and a 'better gig' would have presented itself by now. His mistake was leaving VSU for USF. He should have shot for a better OC gig, which could have led to a FBS head coaching job. Dave Clawson left Richmond to be Tennessee's OC (the last year Fulmer was there), Richmond won the NC the year after he left (under Mike London) - Tenn's staff got fired, Clawson was out of work, Mike London landed the UVA head coaching job.....then Clawson got the Bowling Green job a year later. Kerwin should have taken an OC job at a P5 school. He's mid-50's now, so he's got a few more years in him. If he does well at WCU he could end up at a better 1AA job or as an OC at a P5.
