In addition to Law's points, I'm sure it's Toney's affinity for guns that is bothering some. He had the incident with threatening someone with airsoft pistols as though they were real because they knocked out Cleveland. Then, he was found with the loaded AR-15 on his back seat during a traffic stop.

Notably, I don't think he was charged in either incident.

What are they?

I was probably more impressed with Toney than any other player last year. Having said that, in the brief interactions I’ve had with him at games, you can tell he definitely comes from a tough background. His entire demeanor was so different from guys like Swain, VJ, Grimes, etc. I don’t think he’s a bad kid at all. If I were to guess, I’d say he has had a hard time severing himself from that previous life, and that in itself will raise red flags when teams are considering this type of investment. As hard as it is for many of these players, I hope he’s able to do so.

I agree that he seems like a nice kid, mostly, but when you're preparing to give the kid a multi-million dollar contract things like how likely is he to do something stupid versus say Von Jefferson, it's easy to see which one is a safer investment.

I'd like Trask to go to the Saints...I might even watch...but I hate having Jamis Winston anywhere near me.
