I'm actually amazed that Marco Wilson was drafted fairly high relative to expectations and Trevon Grimes wasn't at all. Stunned to be honest. I think Grimes will definitely make the Eagles roster as an UFA. He probably would have benefitted from one more year as the number 1 receiver at UF, as he didn't get enough targets to showcase his abilities. His game should translate better in today's NFL if given the opportunity.

Maybe it is because Grimes is terribly mediocre and the NFL doesnt give a shut about blocking.

If you cant get.open vs Oklahoma, you cant get open with anyone. And he didnt.

I always thought he was a below average route runner. I’ve seen him drop easy ones and then make miraculous catches. Consistently inconsistent. Tremendous potential though.

Grimes didn’t play against OU. Have another law! It’s derby day after all.

Oh you know he’s hammered out of his mind. Mint juleps, rum and loading up on menthols while he can. I was on the fence about the giant hat. But as soon as he started criticizing players in games they didn’t play, it removed all doubt. It was on, and it was massive.

Smith is the best overall, but a risk still, imo. Hate the Dickerson toolbag. And the rest is quintessential Eagles drafting. You’d think it’s McElwain’s recruiting with how much we reach. I wonder if they realize that it’s our choice, not the players’, so we can get whoever we want.

Anyway, I always appreciate a bargain.

the Stillerz did alright-
at least they didn’t draft an ILB in the first round.

You always do alright. That’s what so frustrating, and honestly as weird as it seems, why Philly always struggles. There’s such an insistence on being different from the Steelers that they’ll do the opposite even if it goes against all logic. Fundamentals and obvious go out the window. We’ll blow a 2nd round pick on a blind kid from Sam Houston St because no one else knows what we know.

It’s also why you guys are in SB contention nearly every year and the Eagles are not.

Ok, one question. How in the hell has this not been made a permanent here? I’ve watched for 5 minutes and still can’t get enough.
