Marco Wilson is already broke.

Please let him lose it all in a failed bid to start a shoe company.

Bowlcut.com:

Shortly after the conclusion of the 2021 NFL draft, which produced eight Florida selections, a trio of UF players signed undrafted free agent deals Saturday.

Gators wide receiver Trevon Grimes landed with the Philadelphia Eagles, while center Brett Heggie is headed to the New York Giants. Safety Donovan Stiner will reportedly join the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the nation’s top-ranking passing offense, Grimes was Florida’s third-leading receiver behind first-round picks Kyle Pitts (Atlanta Falcons) and Kadarius Toney (New York Giants). He made 38 receptions for 589 yards and nine touchdowns, tripling his scoring total from 2019. The former five-star recruit and Ohio State transfer finished his UF career with 97 receptions for 1,444 yards and 14 touchdowns in 37 games played, including 23 starts.

Heggie made 31 starts in 41 career games with the Gators. He earned SEC Lineman of the Week honors three times and played all three interior spots. After spending time at both guard positions in 2018 and 2019, Heggie moved to center last year and blocked for Heisman Trophy finalist Kyle Trask, a second-round pick for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Stiner was a three-year starter in Florida's secondary and had his most productive season as a senior, finishing third on the team with 69 tackles. He started 28 of his 48 career appearances, recording 150 total tackles and six interceptions. His four picks in 2019 led UF’s defensive squad and was tied for second in the SEC.

Florida had five more players drafted on Day 3: cornerback Marco Wilson (Round 4, Arizona Cardinals), kicker Evan McPherson (Round 5, Cincinnati Bengals), safety Shawn Davis (Round 5, Indianapolis Colts), defensive tackle Tedarrell Slaton (Round 5, Green Bay Packers) and Stone Forsythe (Round 6, Seattle Seahawks).

I still like Heggie... when he is healthy. We will see. Those other two FAs have no chance of sticking. Maybe if they move Grimes to safety.

Heggie is like Forsythe. He has some outstanding tape and some awful tape. Which one will show up?

Safety Donovan Stiner will reportedly join the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A pity signing. Well, that's better than nothing.
