They failed to mention that he throws a shoe better than anyone. F Marco, biggest dumba$$ in UF history and we’ve had our share of dumba$$es.

Disco Dan said hold my beer in this competition, with a playoff berth on the line, I healthy scratched the most dominant player in NCAA football against a team dressing less than 53 scholly players.

True, because the ref typically only sees the retaliation.
However, in this particular case the ref is staring at the two players and sees the initial slap just as well as the second. For whatever reason (I will let you decide) he chooses to only call the second one.

I won’t even get into the fact that the refs never started the clock running again after the play which gave UT time for the winning field goal

Hence why I said they fuched up the call and how the penalty was managed.

Don't forget he also poo-pooed the official's call on the personal foul for throwing a shoe... Which would be an unsportsmanlike penalty in 1,000 out of 1,000 cases. Name one coach we have ever had (other than maybe Zook) that would defend a player after that stupid calamity.

I love the quotes from Bruce and about Trask. He's spot on.

And congrats to the other Gators who got drafted.

Trask a steal in this draft. He is going to learn well from the goat Brady and be starting and staring in the NFL in a few years.

- 4th pick in the draft (highest ever for a TE)
- 1st round WR
- 2nd round QB
- No trophies
What does our offensive genius need to actually win something?

Skip and Shannon had a passing mention about it today:

The bottom line is it takes incredible talent, not just three really good players, even one generational TE/receiver, to overcome Dan's Dumb.

Apparently, Grimes thinks the coaches badmouthed him and it affected his draft potential.

The reason Grimes didnt get drafted is because he cant get open, runs.....searching for the words ..slow sloppy routes, had questionable hands and had very little production. That is on him, though it definitely an uphill struggle in a DM offense. However, Kadarius and Pitts produced enough to get attention, even if they werent in the top 25 in acrual production and didnt get to start regularly until their last season.

Duh.

Im more interested in hearing what he thinks the coaches said about him and to whom.

Are we sure that's actually what he even meant? And the reality is, as shocked as I was to see him go undrafted, that doesn't happen based on words. I guess it's possible that Mullen may not have spoken as glowingly as he did about others, and those comments could have some impact, but you don't go 7 rounds without a sniff based purely on some questionable reviews. I love Grimes, but that's not what happened here.

I guess the coaches also forced him to drop the ball roughly 25 or 30 % of the time he touched it. Or forced him to "opt" out of the bowl game after the 2 leading receivers did as well. He only cost himself and Trask money by being a selfish dick.
