Overall not bad. Close proximity, so the fact that everyone keeps to themselves as well as they do is surprising. To the left a couple with older kids. No idea what they do, but they're always pleasant in passing. To the right, it's an older woman who's meticulous about landscaping and has saved me some money by raising parts of my canopy as she's having her own raised. Across the street there's a younger couple with a baby. He's a professor and Italian, so we talk occasionally. And then there's an older lady who's very nice and the closest we come to a "cup of sugar" neighbor. I don't mind helping, but have been asked to do everything from open jars, to check her oil, to get an armadillo out of her garage. Back in 2016 when one of the "storms" came through and forecasts showed upwards of 30mph winds, she asked if I could lend her a hand. I didn't mind and would often help out elderly ones in my old community with shutters and storm prep. But that was like real storms and direct hits. I didn't have it in me to debate that it wasn't going to be that bad so I just agreed. It turns out she had about 100 little potted plants, wind chimes and figurines in her backyard and garden that she wanted moved inside. It was an excruciating 2 hours.
But as I said, all in all, not too bad. I'd say an 8. Certainly better than the homo couple and looming all-night gay extravaganza that Crete's contending with.
