UK up 5 to 1 after 6 innings. Gators gave up 10 hits in those 6 innings.

Typical Sully. Tied at 5, we put runners on 1st and 2nd in top of 8th and Sully does not have Kirby sac. bunting. why? Kirby strikes out!

Load bases with one out. Two strikeouts later we fail to score. Typical of a poor fundamental team that is way overrated.

Uncle Mo was given to us and we say no thank you. Misplay a bunt by UK and then a wild pitch. Don;t watch us play if you want to learn how to play the game of baseball properly.

Sully doesn't teach fundamentals. He only believes in the 3 run homer. He doesn't teach how to play catcher or 1st base. He must teach his guys to play for the scouts rather than to win games.

Why are we still seeing more of Jordan Butler than Kendrick Calilao? He's hurting the team more than he's helped them.

Can’t throw hitter out at first....major problem for Rivera, Kirby and Alemon...
Catcher has no arm
Rivera can’t field
Nobody can bunt
Base running sucks
Reminds of Bad News Bears

What were they recruiting in these you wonder. And really gotta ask if we are using a ton of schollys on again.....metrics. Maybe go watch these guys play every once in awhile.

which came more highly touted? That's your answer. These coaches alot of times are thinking the politics of the lineup and the recruiting ties of the kids they recruited.

Sully's teams have never looked this inept before. I wonder if the preseason practice rules were changed from higher up (Strcklin/fuchs) because of woke covid precautions.

After watching us fight back following some disasterous defense; we had to witness even more disasterous offense. Antway, I am drinking way too much during baseball season to be woke. And speaking about being "higher up", what could we have possibly expected would happen by hiring a liberal provost from New York to be prsident of the Univeristy of Florida?

Gators trail 4-3 after 7 innings in Game 2. Currently in rain delay. Perhaps they will call it and take us out of our misery. Jud has 2 HR's accounting for all our runs. The rest of the guys have swung for the fences but come up empty. Meanwhile UK just punches the ball where it is pitched and takes its chances making us play defense.

Gators like to show off. Kentucky, Miami, South Carolina, etc like to play baseball. Big difference.

Of all people, Cory Acton saves the day as a pinch hitter (not his strength). Can't remember when Acton last played but he singles on a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs and the Gators down one run in the Top of 9th plating the tying run. Calilao follows with a 3 run homer and Gators win 8-5. Earlier Calilao had a pinch hit single plating the tying run at the time just before the Gators gave up the lead promptly after. Very ugly win as usual.

BTW another nightmare defensive performance by us. Carrion boots a ball that eventually allowed the go ahead run to score and Halter dropped a routine pop in the infield, but was able to still get a force out. BTW why was that not considered an infield fly rule?????

Kendrick Calilao ~ 4 RBI's including a 3 run game winning homer in the top of the 9th with 2 outs.

I will try to answer that because we might actually get someone to give us a correct ruling. In my limited knowledge of the rule, it may simply be that in the ump's judgement, the dropped ball was outside the vicinity of the infield. I think there is also a base runner critria, so it may also be that there was only a runner on first. I think an ump must also signal an infield fly; I don't know if he did or not. I do know there was no objection to the call on the field. Hopefully, someone can clear it up.
