Most coaches seem like they dress terrible. A few years back Saban and Kiffin were on an in-home, and looked as if they’d robbed a homeless man on the ride over. I guess it’s just a combination of time and older age that makes them just not care one bit. So I’m not shocked that fellow coaches don’t say anything. TG wears ultra pleated pants, a polo and tassel loafers all day every day and Knox’s mustache looks like he should be sword fighting a pirate. So they’re not the answer. Players probably don’t want to piss him off, and just accept it. But the wife is a legit question. Not only does she have to hang off the arm of this disaster, she’s also facing at least an extra 10-12 inches of pants she has to iron.

I’ve explained before my family history of tailors. It’s in my genes.

Look, no one here cares what anyone else here wears(I do suspect Doug has cuffed shorts, but that’s a separate issue). And if anyone of us looked like Mullen in a “once a year” dress up moment, no one would say a word. But we’re talking about someone making 6mil a year, having access to a hundred people who could help, and yet looking like a complete buffoon on a regular basis as dressing up for pictures is an elemental part of the job. That’s the point.

I think the regime stopped getting new movies on tape right around Saturday Night Fever. He has no clue there’s anything beyond polyester bell bottoms.
