Meyer may cave to the pressure not to roster him. Period.
He'll be run out of Jax if he doesn't roster the guy. He has to know going in that if you sign him, you keep him. Record attendance will follow.

If Teblow had taken my advice or the advice of others even more knowledgable, we might be talking about what a good career he had in the NFL as a multi positional guy and might be celebrating his retirement. Instead it made for good fodder, 10+ or so years later.
He would have missed out on marrying Miss Universe, chasing his baseball dreams, and establishing his broadcasting career, though. You never know what makes someone else tick.

Oh... I know EXACTLY what makes him tick. Taking a Q Power and hitting a linebacker or strong safety and driving him 4 yards for a score is better than sex to him. There is zero doubt in my mind.

IMHO, Tim is being used a a marketing ploy. Lord knows that the long-suffering
fans in Jacksonville have had little to cheer about. The owner hires Meyer and
suddenly there is a glimmer of hope. Thar's reason #1 to celebrate. Urbs then
bets the farm and opts for Lawrence to be the face of the franchise. That's reason #2.
Then Urbe floats the idea of resurrecting home town hero Tim's long-dormant NFL career.
How much he will add to the Jag's inept offense is questionable, but just having him
stationed next to Urbs on the sidelines is sure to put more asses in the seats. Now Jag Nation
has a 3ed reason for hope. His greatest value may be as a "Battering Ram" in short yard situations.
Tim has never been anything but a credit to the game, albeit his on the field NFL successes
have been few and far between. I, for one, will be pulling for Tim to have his moment in the sun.

And you know this how?

How do you know how Evangelicals think?

Look at Danny Wuerffe he married his love not some supermodel. He gave up the "World's Dream" for what's important to him...His calling. But you will never understand that without coming to the Savior.

Donk...You don't know everything and you sure don't know this.

Did you ever see him coming out of church or from his honeymoon suite doing this?

Try this:
  • He's playing the sport he loves...he held out for QB...Maybe he plays Wildcat
  • He's playing for his former HC...who he supposedly likes
  • He's in good shape and has at least a few years left
  • He's playing for his home team
  • It allows him to reach another generation who really doesn't know him
  • It allows him to keep making money and support for his mission work

Would y'all just let the man play...If it works out awesome and if not...we've been here before.

And did he do this to Urban after the NC

tim-tebow-engagement-ring.jpg

Or Give him this?

7.25-carat diamond engagement ring that could have easily cost $1 million.

This thread is another reason to love this place. No story on earth should result in more gooey warmth for a Gator than Tebow reuniting with Meyer in the NFL with an outside shot at one last moment in the sun.

Literally ever other Gator Fan: Who could find anything to argue about here?

This whole page has become a terrific read. Like most of you I’m sure, I’m still in the fence on the Tebow play vs sex thing. I give the edge to Law because of his background, but Nola’s bringing bullet points to the discussion. Hadn’t expected that, and it’s leveling the playing field for sure.

And Evangelicals get a FacePalm from MJM...Does Jesus bother you that much? Brother...You can have the peace that goes beyond understanding.
