So do you have a way to work remotely, or do you literally 'Netflix and chill' for 10 days?
I have some courses that I can watch/listen to from udemy.com. I will be doing that for 8 hours each day except for weekend days. My job does not allow for remote work due to the nature of it.

Hawaii has changed their rules again. I now no longer have to quarantine in my hotel room for 10 days. Now, as long as I have a negative covid test within 72 hours of arriving on Kauai I have to only restrict my movements so that I am not risking myself or anyone else for 96 hours, retest and with a negative test I'll be free to roam the island and go to work at will.

Good for you...

Are you going to try and pick up some temp work on the Dole plantation? 'cause I would... that's good stuff.

Today was Monday? I couldn't tell. Camping at Ft Desoto. Kayaked and beached and partied all day. What a change after 3 days of St Pete GP races.

I went to a waterfall yesterday that was right off the side of the road near Lihue, Hawaii. It is called "Wailua Falls" and is really pretty but I wasn't able to get any pics that I really liked using my camera. Anyways, I did see this Red Crested Cardinal sitting there just a few feet away so I snapped this pic of it. Beautiful bird IMO.

A co-worker and I hiked up the Sleeping Giant trail today (Sunday). It was a roughly 2 mile in, 2 mile out hike that gained about 1200 feet of elevation. It was tough but fun. The view from the top was breathtaking. Almost had a 360degree view from the top. I didn't take any pics myself. My co-worker did but none really did the view justice.

Oh, none. I plan on taking lots of really great or horrible pics but not sharing them with you... :hahaha:
Even if I share the pics of your wife with you?

This afternoon (Thursday) after work I drove up to the top of Waimea Canyon rim, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Saw this waterfall and had to get a pic of it. It was overcast clouds but when the skies are clear and the sun shines on this canyon it is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful! Pics don’t do it justice. I got your others pictures last night but was asleep. There is a 6 hour time difference.

Yeah, just 5 hours difference from here to home and I know you are in the Eastern time zone. One of my coworkers from Huntsville is out here and she has an iPhone that takes incredible photos. Probably going to go back up to let her see Waimea Canyon this weekend so maybe she will get some better pics.

Here is a picture of a couple of tree(s) that I took. They are known locally as a "Golden" tree. However, originally they were called a "Golden Shower" tree because the blooms fall like it is raining. These trees are actually invasive because they were brought here from Japan many years ago.

And this is the same waterfall with a rainbow directly above it.
