Lol. How could I forget that small town? It is only about 10 minutes from where I live which is Woodville, AL. Also in Jackson County...Don't forget Paint Rock, in Jackson County.
Do you remember the tv show, "The Walton's?" If so, there was a frequent reference to the Rockfish river. This is a pic of the Rockfish Post Office. It is no long an operating P.O. though. I've been there many times.
On the Tamiami Trail , Highway 41, about 35 miles east of Naples and 75 miles west of Miami is Ochopee which in addition to its unusual name is also the smallest post office in the United States.
