I’m sure BMF would agree that this is a punchable face.

I think that's Carson Wentz.

Yes. I’d also guess, based on the shti-eating grin among other questionable traits and mannerisms, that he plays “Flying Lady” golf balls, says “lunch is on me” when it’s his turn to buy and promptly pulls into Little Caesars, and has the distinct odor of Secret roll on when he “mists” during exercise. A punch in the face isn’t sufficient. A boot to the vulva would be better.

As for Eddie Lacey currently...”Tight?” No. “Wide?” Yep :fatnanner:
I’m afraid the cheese dishes in GB was more than he could bear.

...although I got Dadded by my Dad who called me and told me to turn on Fox News ("Quick!") because Tebow was coming on after the commercial break. So I turn it on and turns out they're only talking about Tebow, not to him. I can hear my Mom's eyes rolling lol

Good question and I have no idea. What I do know is that signing someone is meaningless at this point; it only gets them into training camp, they still have a huge mountain to climb in making the team. Hell, Franks signed with the Falcons, and he has as much chance at making that team as I do. It's not any real commitment at all.
Everything has gone quiet except from the race baiters and I hate seeing Tim dragged through the mud by the race baitors.

I wish was Tim was trying out for backup quarterback or fullback or H Back instead of tight end. But it is what it is. But if Urban does not sign Tim I don't think I would ever forgive him. The rest would be up to Tim of course.

As for Franks I don't know if he has a future as a backup quarterback. But look at what Jeff Driskel has done. He has been in the NFL for four or five years made who knows how many millions of dollars and not had his brains bashed in. Not a bad part-time job. ;)

Don't watch Fox News anymore. Only watch The Andy Griffith Show re-runs.
Me too. Sad. But I've tapped out. I heard clips of Joe talking about Israel and Palestine and I couldn't take it.

We need a hero in sports. But I fear we may have to wait a very long time. No I don't consider Tom Brady a hero. All time great quarterback yes hero no.

Tebow being talked about on Fox News right now, turn it on!

See that’s the problem with TV today. Remember the days of, “hey quick, turn on the TV”?

Not any more. For all the advancement we’ve made, even if I wanted to turn it on right now, I’d have to search among the four remotes, wait for it to turn on and load, make sure it’s on the right setting, and then get the sound bar remote, turn that on and up the volume. Unless it’s a 30-45 minute special, I have no chance of catching it.

What a disaster we’ve created.

If I was from New England and Tom Brady had stayed and finished out his career there, then I would consider him a hero, just like as a Miamian I regard Dan Marino and Dwyane Wade as heroes. But nope, Brady sold out his loyal fans. He's an extremely talented professional athlete. Hard to argue that he's not the NFL QB GOAT. But no hero. :shakehead:

lol that is so true. Anyone who's seen more than 4-5 of my posts on the PF knows I'm a regular Fox New watcher, but it still took me a minute to get it going.

Had to turn on the TV with the TV remote, switch inputs from the YouTube app to AT&T TV, then grab the AT&T remote, bring up the channel guide, switch to "Favorites" to narrow down the selection, then scroll to Fox News and select it.

Between mild dyslexia and having a million different TV/cable systems over the years, I cannot memorize a channel number to save my life. Not even the number for Fox Sports Sun, now Bally Sports, which I watch the Miami Heat on 3-4 times a week and am often rushing inside to turn it on after coming home in the evening. So you'd think I'd have the channel memorized so I can go right to it. You'd think wrong. :shakehead:

Jags almost had another one.

@AaronWilson_NFL: Jeff Driskell chose the Texans over the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to a league source. He recently visited the Dallas Cowboys. Was scheduled to visit the Jaguars this week, but instead chose the Texans

Dan Marino was a interception throwing choad and nobody cares who you think is a hero. Look at you...a dumb arse miami fan defending boston fans just because it kills you that Brady is the GOAT. Remember that time you said Brady was going to fail miserably at Tampa. HAHAHA...suck it you thunderkunt.

Aww. Are you looking for an apology from me for hurting your tender feelz? :weep: Clearly you got very deeply triggered by something I said about your main man-crush Tommy Boy.

Well, too bad. Suck it up, Tampon.

I don't even remember saying that -- I believe what I said was something along the lines of, no matter what happens in Tampa, Brady will never go down in history with the same universally-admired hero status he would've had if he'd stayed in New England instead of turning his back on his loyal fanbase of 20 years for no good reason. Which is 100% true.

I'd be surprised if I didn't also mention that when Tampa's rent-a-championship reign ends and is quickly forgotten, they will promptly return to the same bland mediocrity and indistinctiveness that have always been the hallmark of the team, its fans and the whole boring-ass Tampa Bay area. Which is also 100% true.

"Why is there so much vitriol over Tim Tebow's potential Jaguars camp invite?"

I am fascinated by this mystery, which is the title of a column that Dan Wetzel wrote but disappointingly never really offered a definitive answer to his own question.

He's probably onto something here though:

While Tebow’s possible chance is being compared to Colin Kaepernick not getting a chance, that’s a stretch. You can believe Kaepernick was unfairly treated by the NFL and see that these two situations aren’t really that comparable.

Tebow, to me, is more like Cam Newton. Not as players, since Newton is exponentially better and never quit football to try another sport. He has earned every opportunity.

Like Tebow, though, Newton often elicits outsized negative reactions despite having done relatively little that is controversial. He mostly plays really hard and really well. Yet everything from metrics to comment sections will show wild responses to him.

Neither he, nor Tebow, is perfect. They are each proud and unapologetic about who they are. Maybe that’s what creates groups of people who dislike them so much, or are uncomfortable with them.

If you drew a Venn diagram of the Tebow/Newton haters, it’s possible there is no overlap. They are two sides of the same coin.

But what’s the coin? Why does it even exist?

Each member of the Tebow hate club has their own reason. My best guess is something that plagues a lot of American society. There is an old saying that my enemy’s enemy is my friend. In this case, maybe it is “my enemy’s favorite player is my enemy.”

If you dislike, for whatever reason, the people who love Tebow, then perhaps you hate Tebow even if there is little to no reason to hate Tebow. Same with Newton.

Maybe there isn’t a single perfect answer.

Something is driving this stuff, though, because the NFL is currently overwhelmed by a possible camp invitation to a backup tight end for a lousy team. Then again, being offended by something happening somewhere by someone has become our national, bipartisan pastime. Bigger than the NFL, even.
