“In an email sent to command staff Friday and shared with WTTG, Sixth District Commander Durriyyah Habeebullah wrote: "Yesterday two 6D scout cars were totaled because officers decided instead of fighting crime, patrolling their beats, or engaging the community — they decided to drag race each other on Anacostia Avenue at 5 pm in the evening."

How the hell can anyone drag race anywhere in DC at 5pm on a Friday evening?

1st time WINNER in IndyCar today. Pato O'Ward just won Texas. We knew this day was coming. 20 to go he took the lead and let the car eat. As a bonus from his team partner, he will get a F1 test at the end of the year. Here is a pic I took of him last week.

Debut for this car next month. He will have 2 at Monza and LeMans.
I can't wait to see it up close at Sebring or Daytona.

For a front engine hefty girl she gets around a road course with some of the best of them....I don't track cars but from what I've heard she is hell on tires due to the weight and barely makes a session before needing to be refilled. Still though for a weekender and mostly garage queen I could live with that.

Multimatic Motorsports, and he drove for Roush and Ganassi. He also did a lot of work on the Ford GT and raced it in WEC series. He just did the One Lap of America in this car earlier this month.

Wasn't Billy Johnson was it? Not sure about him being an engineer but I know he did a lot of testing on this car and rumor has it he was able to turn similar times with it(GT500) as with the Ford GT on an un named track....or so rumor has it.

BTW hat's a carbon fiber track pack in the same color as my 2009....I wonder if my wife would even know the difference....:lol:

I'm pretty sure he has an engineering degree from a school in Calif.
He did a lot of R&D on the GT350 Mustang before these I think.

Ranger or Maverick? I tried the new Ranger a cpl years ago, didn't like much about it. So I traded in my 20 yr old Ranger for an F150 that was loaded with more and cost thousands less than the Ranger.
Now a new Ford Maverick is out. Sure is different than the '73 Maverick I had.

4.5 FT bed makes it a no go for me, plus she ain't gonna win any beauty contest. But the electrical station/outlet? looks pretty useful.

Kyle Larson is the G.O.A.T. I saw him in the first asphalt race he ever drove, in 2012 at New Smyrna. He took the lead on the last lap of a 100 lap race to win.
Sunday he bagged a cool Million winning the Nascar AllStar race. 3 Nascar wins in a row.
Today he went back to Ohio and won the All Stars Circuit of Champions Ohio Sprint Speedweek winged sprint car race on another dirt track tonight.
He lives at a different speed than us humans.
