1. I've never sat and watched a whole hockey game in my life. Is it called a game? A match? Don't even know. Don't care, either -- like everybody else on this site, if this thread is any indication.

2. The Florida Panthers are not a Miami team. They represent Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. They moved up there from Miami over 20 years ago.

3. The Panthers moved because in order to draw fans, an NHL franchise needs a market dominated by men who are unattractive to women due to being homely-looking, pasty-faced white guys who are either too fat or too skinny. Broward and Tampa are loaded with those. Whereas Miami has much hotter women, so the men take better care of ourselves.

4. Aside from the ugly mug, what's your problem? Too fat or too skinny?

BONUS POINTS: Write a brief essay explaining how the outcome of the NHL playoffs could potentially increase your appeal to women.

Avs look every bit the hype in game 1. However, Im not really sold on that division (as usual).

Vasilevskiy...geesh, he is GOAT! Probably impossible for him to continue to play at that level but if he does...nobody is beating us.

You wanna play fast. Bolts will happily do that. That's how you get blown out against them. If they are on their game the only way you beat them is to slow the game down

Vasilevskiy continues to dominate. While the Canes did have the most shots (again), there weren't many quality chances for them (again). However, Killorn, Kucherov, Colton and Coleman all wish they had some redos. Last night was the first game in a while where the Bolts looked in total control of the entire game. Canes had some spurts here and there but they continued to get shut down without every really being able to set up. Bolts forecheck was on point last night as well...we were all over the puck.

Looking forward to the Avs game tonight...that was clinic the other night. Again, west division (old Pacific) were always lacking and with no interdivision play this year none of the divisions have been 'exposed' yet. Don't get me wrong, I think the Avs are looking like the best, but, not as great as they look is what I suspect.
