I actually am thankful his high school coach was a moron...other wise he'd never be there to go in and make mullen 1.6mil a year richer

just saying, who knows what the press conference would have been after that UK loss without Trask coming in. Throw in the obvious Ga Southern moment Mullen would eventually have had as that season tanks along with those press conferences...that schedule would have been meaningless.

It is amazing really. This guy has had less time on the football field since middle school than the average college kicker.
I doubt more than one in a hundred million could do it.
Most clipboard holders walk onto the field and fall apart when they no longer wearing a red shirt and the real angry 300 pounders are coming at them.
It is incredible.
Luckily Dildo Dan knew not to rely on his shaky passing skills and ran the option 30 times a game and passed only 39. Dont want to get out of balance and accidentally score too many points.

Franks went undrafted so this tells you all about Mullens ability to judge talent. He mulls it over and chooses poorly.

Trask's college career was a one and a million shot, as several of us said (check the archives), if he had come in the 90s the story about Trask would have been completely different. I have no doubt that Trask is one of the top 90 players in the world currently at his position. He will have a solid NFL career doing what he did in college.

"Shaky passing skills" :rolleyes: Listen, you can crow as loud as you want about being right about Dorky Dan, but you need to accept that you were wrong about Kyle "Trash" Trask and his supposed lack of passing skills. Think of it as yet more proof that you were right about Dorky, given that in retrospect he should've started Trask over Franks all along.
And don't say you were only being sarcastic because LIKE DORKY you did not recognize Trask's talent and were all over this board saying he sucked. The point is you can't have been right about both Dorky AND "Trash," you have to pick one or the other, and the answer is obvious at this point.

I didn't think Trask was going to translate, but mostly that was being when we saw him in O&B debuts, he was hitting middle linebackers in the numbers. Also wasn't the normal fit for Mullen's offense, and still isn't. I was wrong on that. Going into last season, even Tijuana was a believer in Trask. But to say there wasn't a logical reason not to believe in him before 2019 is revisionist history. The people who recruited Trask didn't even believe in him.

Yes, your joke was that Dan was dumb for not recognizing that Trask was a better passer. I get that, but my point is, what's your excuse? You're not denying badmouthing "Trash," are you?
