2 or 3 batters doing great and the other 6 looking completely lost. Seems to be a theme every other game this year. Pitching has been completely average as well. I expect this to be the beginning of the end for the year. Disappointing season.

Edit: oof and then as I'm typing a completely lazy attempt to catch a fly ball by Fabian and then a panic throw to the infield that still would have been fine if any infielders were paying attention. Fabian needs to go. His MLB status got way too in his head this season IMO.

Gators making some great memories for the first regional in the new ballpark. Its not over yet but so far it is a complete disappointment though not unexpected

I was there. two takeaways. Bottom of 1st inning, first 2 batters reach, 1st and 2nd no outs. Pop up pop up pop up. Inning over. Put ball on ground. Late game Fabian flubs a ball in CF then overthrows cut off man. 2 errors one play, Oh and I forgot, Scott gives up lead off double, okay it happens, then strikes out the side, but wait USF plated the run who led off with a double and USF never touched a pitched ball. How? Passed ball then a wild pitch. We play the game not how it was designed to be played.

The Vandy and Ole Miss series showed us what the team is capable of when they are motivated. The Miami, South Carolina and Tennessee series showed us how they play when they just don't really care. Today's game is another example of their lack of motivation when it counts. Is it poor coaching or self-absorbed players. Probably both.

Not that one game makes a difference or even the regionals, but Sully might know more than we do. He just saw what happened to the other two dullards who coach FB and BB and saw what appears to be the best way to get the Brinks truck to come to your house.

Crazy quote from Hickey. How can we not be “there” during postseason play? For the first time, I’m starting to believe the players know Sully is a goner.
