I don't miss these days:

Yeah, deal me out on that. But truthfully, you couldn’t convince me that some of those signs weren’t surfacing in the lead up to “I do”. An old friend that became sort of a mentor to me used to say, “marriages often don’t work because the woman expects the man to change but he doesn’t and/or the man expects the woman not to change but she does.”

I dated my wife for less than three months, but truthfully knew I might marry her the moment she showed up for our first date. Men especially seem to trick themselves into thinking there aren’t massive red flags everywhere.

My wife and I have fought plenty of times but at least over legit issues. The idea of constantly walking around on egg shells and constantly fighting over nothing is exhausting. And it seems like so much of it is self inflicted.

BPD can mask a lot of red flags. Glad to hear you and the Mrs are on a good path.

I got in trouble for cheating on my wife with Sofia Vergara...in my wife’s dream! :lmao2:

It probably wasn’t so much the dream as it was my reaction after finding out.

Her: I dreamt you cheated on me with Sofia Vergara last night.
Me: I mean, can you blame me?

Her: Why are you on your phone when I’m telling you about this dream?
Me: I’m looking for a phone number for Sofia Vergara.

Also Me: Tell me all about this dream, don’t omit any details.

This actually happened to me. To her credit Mrs. G realized she was being irrational, but was pissed nonetheless. She wouldn't say what "dream me" did, but I was told "it was the kind of thing I could see you doing." I decided to take the dog for a long walk.

I told my wife once that I liked what "dream her" did to me in my dream the previous night. It was kinda like this but in reverse. I was pissed at what she wouldn't do IRL.

See, there's your mistake. You tell her with feigned shame that you dreamed some random invented woman did it in a dream and you feel bad because it was so hot. Sure she'll get pissed. Leave it be, don't chase her if she's pouting - and act chipper when you're leaving for work like nothing happened.

She'll surprise you. Women that have been married any length of time don't let their husbands walk around hungry or horny; lest they happen upon a ho with a hamburger.

Just appreciate the insight into this devious behavior!

We can tell you what's coming, it won't matter. It's like when one of your kind slides into a black dress and my kind lose all sense. These are fundamental truths and it is beyond any of us.

This morning my girlfriend sent me a message saying 'Good morning sweetie, I Love You' with heart shape pics. I've known her for over 2 years but started dating her only a couple months ago.

I couldn't help myself and replied "Who is this?"

Of course I quickly followed that with "LMAO". She is a keeper. The list of things we have in common is endless.

After marriage:

"Good morning, sweetie!"

"How do you know what kind of ****ing morning it is? You a fortune teller or something?"

This happened to me, but crazier. I got yelled at for being hit on and resisting in her dream. It was the fact that this woman in her dream had the nerve to hit on me while I was clearly with her that sent her over the edge. Somehow, I made this other woman feel comfortable enough to hit on me? Honestly I tuned her out after I saw a fight was coming, so I'm fuzzy on those details.

As I said above, I don't miss those days. :shakehead:
In this dream, were you by chance a white supremacist? Being guilty of making others feel some kind of way without overt effort is part of the MO. But then so is being a male in a heterosexual relationship. At 60 it’s all still confusing at times.
