Pretty cool that Hollywood Bob, whoever the Fuchs he is, found clips on all those guys, even going back to the 1980's. He could only find one play for Tony Lilly (never heard of him TBH), but still impressive.

Almost forgot about him, but he was good.

Lilly had an abrupt and bad end to his career, though.

He started for Denver in Super Bowl XXII. Denver scored a TD on their first offensive play on a 54-yard pass from Elway to Gator great Ricky Nattiel. They took a 10-0 lead but lost 42-10. The rest of the game, Doug Williams threw bomb after bomb and otherwise unknown Timmy Smith set a Super Bowl rushing record. The highlight reel shows Lilly futilely chasing Smith Redskin receivers all night.

After starting the Super Bowl at age 25, he never played another down in the NFL.

And compared to the shyt I just listed, Marcus Maye looked like a star.

Maye doesn’t belong on the garbage list. He’s showing his ability now as a pro, so I’d pin disappointment more on the “coaching” he had, especially under Butters his last 2 years. Even so, he was a 2nd round pick. The guy can play.

Tony Lily was nothing more than a head hunter. Couldn’t/wouldn’t cover for sh*t. He cost us a win against USC with a late hit. We all called him “late hit Lily”.

And, as I recall, wasn’t there a 12th man penalty @USC that enabled a 2nd try at the tying kick? I used to remember the reserve DL’s name who was wrongly on the field…Alonzo Mitz?

Wow you really are mad, aren't you bro, that your Gay Area teams managed to win Covid* Championships* in multiple sports, but meanwhile your little backwater village is so bland and boring that literally NOBODY NOTICED, except for you and your fellow Tampons. Sad! :(

Let’s check today’s scoreboard:

Who is leading the AL East today? Who has the worst record in the NL East?

Who bounced your kittens from the NHL playoffs?

Call us when the Dolphins even make the playoffs.

The sea isn’t rising, Dade, you are sinking…

Maye was another strong safety being forced to play Free because Keanu was also a strong safety.

They are two different positions for a reason. Most strong safeties aren't great in coverage and most free safeties can't play in the box and stop the run.

Making inane comments like this or that strong safety wasn't good in man coverage just shows ignorance.

If you play two free safeties, you get Grantham.

Between you and me, I've never thought he was "all there". I just don't want to be responsible for spreading potentially harmful internet rumors, so I keep it to myself.
Well...define, "all there." Like, who would be an exemplary "all there" poster on this site?

Isn't Tampa famous for their permissive strip clubs?

Aren't you a strip club aficionado?

Shouldn't you love Tampa?

What am I missing here?

Alex.
What?? I have never said I was a strip club aficionado, I have no idea where you got that from.

Some people might take note that the previous post contains no actual denial of the accuracy of the statement made but I wouldn't necessarily read too much into that.

Well, just speaking in broad terms, how about anyone who doesn’t claim to be a strip club aficionado, literally dozens of times over the years, only to recant and deny when challenged.

Let’s start there.

You must be confusing we with someone else. I am 100% sure I have never claimed to be a strip club aficionado.
