Another stellar day on the trail. Still stuck at #38 just ahead of Duke. Here's a breakdown of Rivals top 250 commits.
Ohio State - 14
LSU - 10
Bama - 9
Georgia - 8
FSU - 6
Too many others to list including Rutgers - 3+
Gators - 2
At least the staff got another monthlong vacation.

I wouldn't want them to feel overworked.

hey here's a blast from the past: Billy Gonzalez.

when is the last time you heard a recruit mention that name. or a newspaper report of him doing work on the recruiting trail?

Billy's doing fine this class, we have two commits and likely get two more.

I think we get Gibson....if he lands Stewart it would be shocking. Smith & Bond are both solid pick ups. As we've discussed, it's hard to get a top WR and RB to come play in this offense....especially if/when Mullen-ball returns and Emory is running it 18+ times/game.

I'm guessing Stewart goes to Texas now that they'll be in the SEC. He's said that he wants to play in the SEC...but likes Texas. Hell, who's offense would you want to play in if you were a 5-star WR: Sark or Mullen? (that's rhetorical).

Just look at the route usage of the SEC Championship game last year... fuching night and day... UF use of 4/5 routes that are just straight up and Bama WR/RB reading the defense and using option routes. I mean if a WR is choosing between the two, Sark is just going to show the film.

As Coach Dixon used to say the eye in the sky doesn't lie. If you put it on film, its the truth.

There's a big difference between Sark's Bama offense with all 5 stars and his offense he ran at USCw and Washington.

Don't be fooled.

Every Bama O-Cord does well because they have all americans at ever possession.

Bama is to college football as Tom Brady was to the Patriots. Every OC & DC the Patriots had got head coaching gigs because Tom Brady made every coach on the team look good.

FSU lands another OL commit from a kid we offered in June (smh, why are we so late making these offers??):

FSU also lands a 3-star DT:

You know why we are so late. Each of these so called 3, 4, & 5 star guys have to be put through the most DETAILED, SCRUTINIZED, RIGOROUS, RELENTLESS evaluation ever done by yours truly Dan "nobody ask me what I would rank them" Mullen.

Give me a frucking break :jerkit:

Between USCw and Bama he was also the OC for the Atlanta Falcons... If you look at his Falcons tape and Bama tape those are closer together.

And talent difference in talent doesn't change the scheme and route tree. Talent does change the gross output. But any level of talent can run an option route if the kids are taught properly.

This is a fun read....

Is it just me or is he back channel opening a door here? Salesman me is hearing one.

“Gainesville was special to us,” Seider said. “My kids, when they got down there and went to school and became part of that community, they really fell in love with it. We bought a house when we got down there and thought we were going to plant our seeds and get Florida back to where it should be — competing for championships.”

“Florida will always hold a special place for me,” Seider said. “Growing up in Belle Glade, everyone in my high school went to Florida. I think I broke it when I left and went to West Virginia. I have a lot of respect for that program and the people that run that program.”

“I felt like where I was at in my career, I didn’t want to go backward,” Seider said.

We need to offer AHC, running backs and recruiting coordinator - then back up the armor car to his porch and throw open the door. Once we get a signature we can pay for the signing bonus by selling tickets to watch Knox launched from a trebuchet built by the College of Engineering.
