What the fcuk is wrong with you!?!?!?

"The U" IS the bad kind. Prolly the worse kind.

And real Gators don't call it the U.
We call them scUM or maybe coCanes (except for Daytona who is a wonderful lady and a national treasure).

The tropical cyclone kind is bad too.

The only good kind of hurricane is the kind that gets you laid in New Orleans. They're a little sweet for my taste but a 151 floater on top cures that.

Alex.

Stay safe NOLA. You evacuating or staying home?

Staying for now...we are Northshore.

What sux for us is massive trees, above ground power and WELL water....we lose power...we lose the pump.

Know this...We are BLESSED

We're not:
NYC
South Chicago
Portland
CA

And thank the LORD...we're not AFGHANISTAN

I'll take a little wind and rain. We'll make it through.

I urged you in another thread to get out. Get out now. Go north. Befriend a Yankee (from Memphis or somewhere) and impose on their hospitality. My BIL is a Deputy in Baton Rouge and he is begging everyone he knows to leave. Says the LE forecast is for Katrina like damage.

Oh, did I mention I worked power crew during Camille. These hurricane things are dangerous. Ask the hurricane watch partiers in Biloxi. Oh wait, you can't.

My kids are In BR. BR is west of us...we should not see a lot...it's the rain and the heavy winds driving Lake Pontchartrain North...not allowing the rain to drain.

Well, I don't live in Miami and technically never have. That's GGG.

That said, be safe. Hope it goes well for you.

Thanks...And for the record I never lived in N.O. (My wife is a N.O. girl)....I really don’t like it. Love the people of S. Louisiana...but not a fan of corruption and decadence

I may be moving right where IDA is headed...This will be a good test.

Stay safe, Nola. Look into getting a generator for your water pump when you get a chance.
