You have more faith in Dan than I do. I'm not convinced we'll be Bowl eligible this year.

So you don’t think we’re going to be bowl eligible but you’re not going to be happy unless we win the SEC? That’s a pretty broad stroke.

I hate to play the "Old fart who's seen it all" card, but I attended Emmitt's first start in the Bama game at Legion Field, way back when. After playing sparingly in the first couple of games, due to Galen's wish to bring him along slowly, ES exploded onto the scene like few ever have. To this day, I'm still a big believer in playing the special talent ASAP. Now before someone bites my face off for "comparing" Bowman to Emmitt, please recall that prior to ES going nuclear on Bear's boys, no one truly knew just how "ready" he really was. DM is highly unlikely to take the kind of leap of faith GH did with Emmitt. Of course, if Bowman sees significant time early on, I'll gladly eat my words.

Douchebag Dan prefers to lose rather than play the more talented players before their junior or senior years.

A couple nuggets:

Diwun has been playing most at safety. He was being played at both linebacker and safety early but the majority of his time has now been shifted to safety.

Desmond Watson played a lot in the most recent scrimmage. Mainly with back ups. He’s talented but too heavy. His time in that scrimmage focused on getting him further into playing shape. He will get time this year but it will be limited while they work with his weight.

Marshall is going to be a lockdown corner.

Bowman is the best playmaker on offense. But he may find the majority of his time on ST this year. He seems to be pretty far behind on the playbook.

EJ is pretty much neck and neck with AR in practice. EJ throws a better deep ball and AR is better with routine passes. EJ is supposedly special running the ball. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out in the first few games of the year.
I would like to see Watson concentrated on short yardage situations this year. Put him in for no more than three plays in a row. Let him play more when he cracks 350.

The team believed in Franks and he needed to stay in front of the team. Trask 's path to starter was derailed by a series of injures.

First off, using retarded in 2021 is bit ignorant, no? Anyway, you can say what you want about Grantham, was he bad last year? Yes. Can he make his guys superstars if they buy in? Also yes. David Reese? I don’t remember any of you guys complaining when we had Reese. That sack against Mississippi State in 2018 was unbelievable. Not mention the Mississippi State win over LSU in 2014 AT LSU.
You want street cred over there in the West, BEAT ALABAMA! I'm not satisfied with our position in the conference until we make real progress toward that goal. That also means we consistently run over under around and through Ugay and LSU (permanent opp) here in the East to get the chance to reach that goal. Why don't you throw a shoe at that!

And I'd buy out DM's bloated contract, hire an unproven like Kewin or even SOS.
And let the it play out. We can't be worse.

Apparently you want to support a program that is willing to take risks in an effort to win championships.
Unfortunately UF is comfortable raking in cash while “competing” for championships versus actually winning any

Well I certainly hope she didn’t think it was like the Toy Story ride at Hollywood Studios. Seems like that would be painful.

Guys, Watson is fine. Plenty of huge guys play in the SEC and NFL. He isnt running much, he is covering only one A gap in Granthams system.

I know Third and Grantham thinks the ideal DT is between 215-245 pounds but we dont REALLY need the DT to be able to cover the TE in zero high man. we could just forget that fuchstarded part of the playbook while he's on the field.
