Hey Recruitnerds! Sorry for the late notice but I will be attending a HS game this afternoon at 3:30 between the Miami Beach High Tides and the Miami Springs Golden Hawks. By chance is there anybody on either roster I should be scouting?

Any 2-3 star player seems to gather the most attention with our current staff. Any blind players that run with a limp would go to the top of the list I assume.
Just kidding of course, let us know what you see.

Norvell and his staff are determined to rebuild the program, starting with recruiting. The Seminoles' 2022 class currently ranks in the top five nationally. And Georgia senior safety Travis Hunter, who verbally committed to FSU last March, is considered the top player nationally by many recruiting services.

Still, belt-tightening continues for individual sports. Coburn stressed the importance of teams staying within budgets that still include travel restrictions.

Mullen and Co. have recruited ok and if you add in the transfers I would say good. Its hard to say why they can't be great except that they must not be very good salesman.
To take the next step in becoming great I think they need to win some big games this year, Ga. LSU or Bama, need to win two out of the three.
Norvell is out recruiting Fl for sure, Gators need to hang about 60 points on them this year.

FSU is sitting at 10 in the 2022 team rankings. And they are at 18 commits. They will fall back and be nowhere near top 5. I think you are talking 2023 team rankings, which really are meaningless at the moment because there are so few commits across the board and the rankings of players are going to go through several changes.

But your point is made...Norvell is working way harder than Mullen.

It’s a Tallahassee Democrat cut and paste

Here's my report:

First, Beach High normally plays their home games in a very nice little football stadium at 11th Street and Alton on South Beach, adjoining Flamingo Park. However for some reason today's game was played on their practice field behind the school, about a mile north of the stadium. I never got an explanation why. There is a little set of bleachers at the practice field because they also use it for their soccer games, but I watched from the sidelines.

I had an unobstructed sideline view...of possibly the worst display of football I have ever seen in my whole entire life, going back to Pop Warner.

Miami Beach beat Miami Springs 15-2, I think. Not sure because the scoreboard was not turned on. Beach had two sloppy, happenstance TD's, a missed extra point, a failed 2-pt conversion and a safety. Springs got a safety after forcing a fumble, recovering it, fumbling the recovered ball when they were about to score, and falling on top of the Beach player who re-recovered the re-fumbled ball in the end zone.

At no point in that rambling, incoherent game were any of the players close to anything that could be considered scholarship material. I now know less about football for having watched it. Not one player on either team will ever play college football at any level. May God have mercy on their souls.
