Was Johnson even here in 2019? I thought he was just last year. But maybe.
Yeah he came in with Mullen in 2018. Interested to see how he does in the NFL.

Not sure if everyone knows or not but he was the QB for Utah in 08 that put the azz whippin on Bama in the bowl game. I know it has nothing to do with anything but that fact alone makes me like him.

Ok wow. Never realized that he’d been here. As much heat as we give Donk on his love affair with Johnson, if he was here helping the Franks to Trask transition, maybe he should get a look. That looked like 2011-2013 tonight, imo.

EJ **** the bed and now it's time for AR to start.
That's just the way way it is.
Mullen is going to have to make a decision--a decision that has already been made.
It was made in the game. Maybe that is something that Mullen still cannot grasp, but SOS understood before the game even started.

Here we go again. Mullen gonna ride the upperclassman and it’s gonna be a struggle. Eventually AR will start and we’ll be wondering where the hell he’s been the whole time.

Discuss.
That's right. QB whisperer indeed. Tis the same guy who kept Trask on the bench and tried to make a "silk purse from a sow's ear" with Franks. It's obvious that Richardson should be starting. He's a much bigger threat with his feet and he can pass at least as good as EJ. He could be another Cam but the "whisperer", that is Uncle Eddie has him on the bench. A pox on his house!

EJ is exactly as what’s been reported out of the scrimmages.

Mullen is trying to balance EJ’s psyche right now. But I think he needs to see what he has with AR for sure.
EJ's psyche is that he hasn't the brains to play the position. He may even be dumber than Driscoll.

Jacksons are Gator royalty and that was a great attempt by Dan to get lil Jackson a catch. Love that he is wearing 22.
That is the comment I was going to make but I was going to say it about AR15, not Dan.

I was impressed that AR had the presence of mind to find Walkon Jackson and try to get him a catch on account of his Dad and Grandpa being in the house as the Honorary Mr. Two Bitses. He did it at least twice, but the kid couldn't make it to the spot where a WR1 would have been. Still, it shows that in addition to winning, AR cares about pleasing the Florida crowd with the right kind of showmanship. It wasn't about himself, it was a show of respect for Gator history.

I guess Cousin E deserves some credit too if he called the play but It's funny that you of all people pointed that out lol

Might just be right. Guess I’d rather go with the redshirt freshman that looks like a TE than the 4th year JR. Guess we’ll see
We can say one thing about AR's passing. It's better than Cams' when he was here and Franks too when he arrived. So there's hope that it will get better.

AR is our only hope of even staying within 20 of Bama.
20 points would be a decent goal. All those five stars and another servicable QB. Did I mention we're over matched. There's good news on the horizon though. We're ranked 16 in recruiting.

Not disagreeing but so are the Browns. And taking my youngest down to just behind the players, I watched Vernell(‘02-05) make a shocked face like “wth” after Richardson made a big play on the final drive. I also saw Malik Davis do the same. The whole team responded to AR. I’ve been a big believer in Jones and love all that he’s done. But AR is night and day at this point.

I also think it was garbage that EJ came in on a drive he didn’t start and got stuck throwing a pick because of poor play calling, but the second one was egregious and every other throw was really low or too high. Not sure where the kid from Lsu and Aub ‘19 went, but this was nothing like that. I expect him to start the USF game, but not confident he finishes. The whole flow of the first half was botched, hindering both QBs.
EJ should have transferred. That fact alone, shows he hasn't the mentality to play QB at this level.

At least he's overthrowing and not underthrowing.

AR15 is a more exciting player than EJ. Does anyone disagree? He should be the starter. Maybe curing the overthrows is as simple as getting him more practice reps so he can get more accustomed to the WR1s and learn to put better touch on the ball.

Neither of them throw that accurately, but Richardson sees the field better, looks off and around better, and makes smarter throws. Add the fact that Richardson is bigger, stronger, and faster, and it's hard to imagine why there's a question. Jones hasn't shown QB-IQ growth with his experience, so why?

We all have eyes, we can all see which player has more potential. The only question left is whether Cousin can face the fact that he anointed the wrong starter.
